but the premise of TILT must be a leading theme or inspiration point for your game submission to be qualified for a Ranking and to be considered for the prize awarded to winner after voting.

These will be Variously streamed, along with the Finalists and fan favorites being streamed.
If you are streaming yourself during creation, use the tag #GamingW so we can find you!
There will be a $20 Value Steam/Itch game prize for 1st place, and 3 Runner up prizes of random steam game keys, or community made game keys

We've decided to Give some time and planning into future Game-Jams going forward.

We are going to be doing **TWO FORMAT/STYLES** of Game-Jams going forward.

These will be Weekend jams, and NOT THEMED, but based around a monthly ASSET PACK

These will take place the 3rd Weekend of each month , And be judged on the final week of each month
Asset bundle made or contributed by Me, or another member of the community, released ~6hrs before start of the Weekend!
Streaming not guaranteed , we may stream the winners

There are no monetary prizes for these jams, just clout and sharpening your skills

MONSTER SHEPPARD PROJECT
This is a personal hobby project of mine, I am making a 'spiritual successor' / 'love letter' to the PSX classic 'MONSTER RANCHER 2' .

I'll make a Game Design thread once I have more work of it done, but this is where I will dump the work so far of Completed monsters I've designed.
A Creature Bestiary if you will!

Feel free to discuss the models, Or suggest ideas for Cross-species skins.
I have 15 Main species lines already sketched/planned just working on modeling them as their 'Main Species' first before doing subspecies skins.
As of yet, I haven't finalized many of the subspecies' -- and also have a '???' Special subspecies for meme / pop culture reference skins, so suggest some based on the main species I share!

Guys I check here 2< a month, and was previously a Mod of Arts (and me, Rami and Drule crunched out the colors for Flowergirl and mint premiums (I Miss Pips)

Been creeping #LudemDare comps for a bit and pixeljunk to get some inspiration recently and decided to pick up Stencyl (as was familiar with scratch) and make some things
I'm intending to partake in LD end of this month as a solo project maybe as a team

Just curious anyone else partake in the LD game jams? Or any game jams/design recently ?

So there's a FREE game out now that is essentially the birth-child of SOLDAT pick-up and play sidescrolling 2d Shooters,
With the saltine goodness of CoD ranking and Gun unlocks, PUBG styled Freeplay, and a well balanced Gun mod system where even a lvl 1 can still take on a lvl 100.

I've been shocked and awed that this hasn't gotten noticed by you folks yet! FOGET WOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOU GULAGS!

I use Discord for both music production group and for gaming.
I remember how popular and active our IRC channels where and Discord is just a prettily skinned Irc chat client with different channels per Server. but also Voice chat like Teamspeak channels.

So yeah, Possible to have Another Troubs Album? An Album on Evolution, Evolution of Anything. You as a Person over the Years (as Some us 'Salt Members' (...heh) Have known another for 10 Year or abouts.

Evolution can be taken as anything, Evolution of Self , Evolve a song that Exists, Write a song about Evolution, Do Some Delicious Hallucinogenics (or Prescriptions like Kawaruu) and Make some Trippy Evolving Trance Pop RNB Metal... ?

So i recently made an arse about gimmick sidescroller game as i get used to the ins n outs of construct2 (havnt game dev'd since rm2k3)

anyway, i wanted to know if anyone else uses it? i have some swell game plans in mind, and be nice to have some like minds to bounce ideas or test things with on same program. its very powerful.

I'm making a small thing on www.indymix.net that retrieves 4 images from a bank folder of images. My problem is that there are duplicate returns coming up as I am retrieving 4 times with no duplicate post restriction.

So Some/most you might have known or heard of my Site IndyMixWeekly. It was intended to be a standalone site/blog that cherished what we have here in this community. the GWTroubadours.
The site was intended for all music creators of all genres to have a place to put up their music, but also contribute in 'weekly' (turned monthly, turned hiatus) Albums.

I'm just going east mode with this one. I'm focusing on Electronic Music from lofi / simplistic to house and ....*shudders*..... Dubstep. But not average find the hottest music blog.
I'm runnin all trcks thru soundcloud, and Only showing/promoting Original Tracks, and Mixes (at least 15mins or more, unless it is some Solid mini mix you want to promote) that where created/(re)mixed by Unsigned (aka: Indy) artists. At the time Its just Graphic Drafts... Critique away.

What Is Indy Mix Weekly?

Indy Mix Weekly Is an Idea that was Originated from an Similar Idea a Few Members and I from a small Community Forum (hoho That's You Guys!) created/crafted. I was Running/Hosting them for the last while, and thought of broadening the Idea to a wider horizon, beyond just the forum’s community boundaries.
The Premise is that, Every Week a Mixtape Is compiled from tracks submitted from Contributors. These Contributors are Indy Musicians, Bands, DJs, Singers, and Any Independent Artist who are Just trying to get their sound out there, and hear what others like them have to offer! Each Week a ‘Theme’ is Given, and contributors Submit tracks they made to the Site. These Tracks can be Pre-recorded, released, or even That week Fresh! If the Track fits that weeks theme, and has been composed,covered,remixed,or recorded by you/your group, Then it will be added to That week’s WEEKLY MIX, which is the Compiled mixtape of all that weeks accepted submitted tracks, for all you Viewers to sit back and listen to. All the Submitted tracks will also Link to the Respectable Owners Pages to help get their coverage and spread the word. That’s what its all about. Inspiring artists with a Theme, and also To Be Inspired by others Great Music you never would have found or heard otherwise! Weekly Mixtapes by Various Artists, Every Week!

Well Poll Closed and It had been Decided.

This New Album will consist of user submission Tracks Like always.
This Albums theme is: Covers ( Also Pertaining to Remixes. )

Basically If it has been sung or composed by somebody else before, or you are sampling said works in your music, Then its Good to be on the Album.

Submit your Tracks to Me. Mp3 Please, i had like 2 wavs n a Flac last time for NO reason ..... Mp3 is perfect format for all...

We'll be Releasing the Compiled album the First of August!

This is the Troubadours First Album since the Change of GamingW to the new name of SaltW, and to Celebrate we wanted to kick off things with Band Spankin New!
Its an album where the only rule for your submission was it had to be over 1minute in length. 8 tracks made it to the table. 8 tracks where then compiled and arranged by me, and with some starting help from Geodude getting this in the right direction for the Middle of January till the End of February, This Album is a historic release to Moniker the name change and proving we can still kick it!

So Last topics where locked because they became 'What are you thinking' threads for drugs. That is not the Idea.

The Idea behind this thread is to post your experiences/escapades/curiosities in drugs, a Giant Trip journal if you will.
And Also to Express interest in certain drugs, Especially ones other forums members have tried.

So Post here if you have some Interesting Trip Stories, Bad experiences on Drugs, or Questions about drugs your showing interest in.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Take this Seriously, Drugs are not a joke to play with (That means you too Kawaru ), and I highly consider only taking the stories and responces to your questions here, with just a Grain of salt (OH HO HO!). If you actually have any interest in Drugs I suggest you really look into them more in depth, we are just here to serve as entertainment and give you a few tips and guidelines from our own experiences.

The SaltW Troubadours (Formally GW Troubadours)

Band Spankin' New!
Ok So there has been discussion but no real decision in Here about the next Troubs album.
There was some talk on IRC today between Me n Geodude (and others input), and we have decided to front up and Start the next Troubs album, Under the New name
'SaltW Troubadours' . And to commemorate such name change I made a new Logo for our musical Group.

We also decided that this Album will be Titled, Band Spankin' New!. The Reason being? To comemorate the change and to invite some new people to come in on the album along with our usual members.

The Theme/Topic of this Album? Well its simple.. ANYTHING!

The only Restriction/Rule is, that the songs submitted MUST be a MINIMUM of 1 minute!
(And obviously No Stealing of material unless its sampling. If its use of another member, give credit)

Send your submissions to Me/Geodude as we will be managing and Maintaining the Album.
Sadly there is no SWRadio, but we will still have a release on the forums and see about a way to live broadcast it!

I'd Say lets give it till End of February for Submission Deadline. Gives you a bit less than 2 months.
