I use Discord for both music production group and for gaming.
I remember how popular and active our IRC channels where and Discord is just a prettily skinned Irc chat client with different channels per Server. but also Voice chat like Teamspeak channels.

Oh yeah I thought of setting up a Slack at some point, but then we have IRC already. I like Discord too though.

Slack seems like a pretty good option since it's more widely adopted by people than IRC by this point. Plus people like me are forced to be on it anyway for work. yaaaaaay

The link posted by Madolah still works if you're interested. If it's dead then anyone could start a new Discord since it's not like there's anything remotely "official" about anything SaltW related anymore, anyway. I feel really bad about that.
 
Man I really wish I had more time. I didn't want to bring this up but I've actually seriously been working on migrating the forum to a much better forum software but some significant changes are needed to get it ready and I haven't had the time for that yet. It's just a surprising amount of work.

Our half-shell Discord is still up, but i lost access to my old discord account which was admin, unless DDay can re- +Op me on there, we have no mods or anything, so a simple re-build. 
I only made it as I was a former admin here for a time (... I BROUGHT YOU MINT AND GIRL POWER PINK with Rami). But i think there is also an inactive half-shell IRC channel as well..
