CHAIN GAME 4 SIGNUPS:
Alrighty. I'm gonna try and get this thing started. I'm just posting this to see who's interested in participating. Once we get some members we'll get to more of the specifics. As for as I have decided the Chain Game will be like this:
2 weeks per person
RpgMaker 2003
No set "rules"
We may have a standard theme but I am leaning on keeping it up to the will of the first chapter maker. I don't care to make the first chapter because I've already done that before and it'd be interesting to get a different perspective (if no one wants to, I will do it then.) I will make sure the game gets to and fro persons and in the middle and end I will clean things up and make the concluding chapter. Sound good?
Alright, so post here if you are interested. Give me a brief statement why you should be included and what you can bring to the table. I'm
looking for anywhere between 10 and 15 people.
After we get the participants finalized we'll go in to greater detail. My goal is to get the first chapter started by next Monday the 19th.

Well I would like to go really early on if I don't get to go first because I like not knowing the whole story until the thing is finished!

I'll join, but I would prefer that my part be given to me between December 20th and January 14th. Those are the only time frames convenient for me.

Anytime, anywhere. Also, I have designed a battle system that is perfect for a Chain Game. If you are interested in knowing what it is, I am putting it together, but I need a little bit more time. For this reason it would favor us if I did the first chapter or at least provided the working battle system for the person who is doing the first chapter. It is based mostly on strategy rather than leveling and getting stronger, that way we will have NO balancing issues at all. Of course, it is very easy to set up and modify, everyone will be able to set up the battles without any hassle, maybe even less than setting up a standard DBS battle. It is not a CBS, just the DBS used in a different way. If you want more details, PM me or add me to MSN and I will give them to you. If not, just add me somewhere in the list. I guarantee that this system is worth it and perfect for our goals. In fact, I'll present it to you on this forums once I get done, should take until Monday judging from my schedule. I don't know what it is but there's something in me that wants this to be highly successful no matter what.

I would like to be included. I don't really care where you put me (although not the last one!).
I will stay on track and am pretty competent in RPGMaker; although don't expect any flashy minigames from my section. Plus, I've been active in yelling about this and that during pretty much the whole course of this thread. :x

I really want to sign up for this, but I'd probably need someone's help for the gameplay elements in the chapter (mostly battles). If no one is interested just sign me up by myself. I'd like my chapter to be somewhat at the start of the story since I don't won't to get spoiled.

Me... I haven't really contributed much to the community lately, and the last game I released sucked ass, so I want to...prove myself. I'm a decent mapper, alright programmer, and my dialogue should be better since last time...

Alright we're getting close to a full roster. So I'm going to have to close the entries unless I hear any more special circumstances. Everyone will atleast become an alternate.

You know what would be a pretty fun change for the Chain Games? To have this one as a community game or something of that sort.. Guaranteed, people would look forward to it much more if they knew it was a GW parody created by a dozen or so members.

That's what I'm here for. We'll see how my battle system goes, I'll help you if needed but really it will be pretty easy to setup but most importantly FUN! =)
(At least funner than the default DBS >_>)
Edit: Note that it is not a CBS, it is just the DBS used in a different way to boost playability and balance.
