Seems we were being DDoS'ed. Don't know if SW was the target, it could also have been one of the other sites running on my server. (Maybe the ToG site for example.) So I didn't have much recourse except for to turn off the webserver process for a short time. Now I've just turned it back on and it seems that the attack has subsided for now.
If necessary I might need to turn it off a bit more while we investigate what the deal is but I'm hoping that whatever this was has GONE AWAY now :(

so yeah the site was taken down again because the DDoS resumed a short time afterwards. thanks to Saltster Offal we managed to get the help of a PRO™ who's keeping an eye on things now. if the attack resumes we'll be able to get the information needed to block whatever the source is.

My collection of Wishmoo stories. No I didn't save collections of these, I just saved all my old IRC logs from 12+ years ago and now I get to share them with you. Excuse us for being teenagers.
tldr of my personal story; she sent me some email, that I have no recollection of now. I posted it to the RPG Infinity forums and next thing I know she was on the phone with my dad threatening me with a lawsuit, and something about us being illegal because we were one of the last hosts of the Don Miguel RM2K files.
