...Or Happy holidays, whatever your nationality, religious affiliation (or lack thereof), sexuality or biases, prejudices, mistakes and regrets you've done this past 12 months.

Everyone is now facing real life problems, but I still hope you have a truly great time friends. :) For the sake of Salt!

I suck at thinking of amazing game design ideas so I'm gonna ask for sugesstions. What do you like to see on a pet simulator. The main inspiration is Monster Rancher 2 for the PS.

Features I've already planned:
Tournaments
Growing up differently depending on how you raise it.

Apologies for those who expected a sort of philosophical topic. No, this si't what it's for. So anyway, you post a quote(movie quote, proverb, witty saying, grandma's advice, etc.) and the next person tries to disprove or just give reasons that disagree with it, then he or she posts his/her own quote.

I'll start.

So far all the attempts at Chain Game has miserably failed. People are nopt that interested with rpg maker anymore and it's just too much work to make an rpg game, even a joke one. So anyway I got this idea from a member that referenced Twine and made a game out of it:
http://www.saltw.net/index.php?topic=83515.msg1636157#new

So anyway I think this is more realistic and attainable than having an RPG Maker chain game. The software is relatively easy and there's no need for any kind of graphics/sound/gameplay management at all. It's just like stories, text and shit.

What do you think?

Also , there would be voting of themes but I suggesst something to do with the Holidays and New Year.

Mostly everyone here are already out of their teenage years and are very well living in the 'real world'. SW now is just a place to hangout with old acquaintances or for them to have a good time but it's not anymore as time-investy for people like in the old days.
So anyway this game topic is so that we can have a reason to discuss more about each other's lives snippet by snippet.

Every post should answer the question asked by the previous poster then ask another question for the next poster to answer.
It don't have top be all-serious posts though just honest one-liners would do.

Question: What was your earliest childhood dream or what-you-wanted-to-be-in-the-future? (Did you achieve it?)

SO I read this a long time ago but never got to dfinish it. It's about a dog who was owned by a wealthy person but then something happened and he ended up in the streets or the wild where he learned the brutal ways of the other dogs.

Hey so I used the primitive family pc (since my laptop's charger was fried) and was wanting to upgrade its RAM which is 1gb and hurting me since i want to do prodcutive stuff in it for the meantime.

So I searched the net about the specs of the motherboard and the asus site said this about the memory:

2 x 240-pin DIMM sockets support max. 4GB DDR2 667/533/400 non-ECC unbuffered memory

I was wondering if it meant the maximum is 4gb(so two gb rams) or I could use two 4gb ram for the two slots. So yea simple question.

Anyone else looking forward to it?

I've just recently watched the 10th and 25th anniversary concerts to be familiar with the musical since I haven't seen it. And jsut starte d rereading the book.

Also just want to say i' excited with the cast and director but kind of worried since the running time which was just announced is 2:32 hours excluding credits. I don't know I hope it would sill be the full experience and not a dumbed down version for general audience.

So we have this cheap ass guitarat home and it hurts when i play it. I think the action is too high but I don't know, anyway is it normal for the distance between string and fretboard to increase as it goes to the body of the guitar?
