I've got a tyan radeon 9600 pro with a dead fan (molten completely). evidently there's not a single solution to stuff like this, each fan seems almost unique to the card.

is there something to look out for? like does a 9600 pro use a standard D fan or something or with each fan i see do i have to look up compatibility? i was looking at the accelero X2 because i can get one cheaper enough to make it worthwhile (under $8) but it has 7 screws and my current heatsink has two. could i simply strap the thing onto it or something?
