yeah I just listened through most of it and its really cool.

Only suggestions I can give are to practice singing though, vocals sound kind of bland at points but I don't know if thats what you were aiming for or what.

Edit: It would be neat as hell if we could get more gw collabs going on though, we were gonna make a blues album but I guess that fell through.

yeah Coxswain it sounds like what we aim for, otherwise it wouldn't be released right?

And I wouldn't say it is bland, we rather have our voices on a same level as the music, so that the voices arent all that clear (you have the lyricbook for that) and it goes up and down with the waves of sound. In fact, the vocals here are much louder than in our usual solo records.

Thanks for listening man! Hope you digged.

I really liked the instrumentals, there definitely something I'd want in my movie shit, but to be honest I don't like the vocals. I'm not a music except so I can't really elaborate.

Fantastic album though, seriously!

That gotta be interestins.

Man I had this playing in the background once and forgot about it and thought I was listening to animal collective at times.

That's kind of what it sounds like to me, a more mellow/less-crazy acoustic animal collective side-project. that is a good thing. great job doods!

in the argentine trip video is Cat Stevens and Animal Collective. no music I'm involved in will ever be that good.

Ok, I gave this a listen. Overall this is really good and I think as instrumentalists you guys have both improved a lot from previous recordings. My one gripe about this is that I really don't think you guys put enough effort into the lyrics. I know that that isn't the focus of the music but I think if you put a little more time into them it would have added some variety and flavor to the music.

But this is really good and the production and instumentation is fantastic.

it's a shame because i don't think there's many ac/pandabear/el guincho etc. fans in gw to appreciate the kind of vocals you're trying to pull off, so a lot of people are probably going to say "this would've been really good if you worked on your vocals!".

I totally did not mean the vocals, I've heard enough of Shep's work to be used to his vocals. The lyrical writing was more of my problem with this album.

Man GW's really make some cool music and a meeting up on  a holiday doing a  collab together is especially rad. I like the album cover as well.

haha that wasn't directed at you, more of psyburn-like comments. but then again I could be wrong, we actually do have a lot of fans of this kind of music for a community!

edit: oh yeah, front cover rules. back cover does not.
