This sucks.  I wasn't a fan of the Kill Bill movies (too much gore for my tastes), but I loved his old Kung Fu series and use his Tai Chi instructional videos on a daily basis.  I wonder what may have prompted him to commit suicide.

Yeah, I was driving home from school and heard this on the radio, started yelling. David Carradine was a crazy badass man, Death Race 2000 was the bomb. I really really liked that guy, don't know what to say but I'm depressed and hell.

Man, I loved Kung Fu: The Legend Continues as a kid, so when I heard about this news yesterday it was pretty saddening. This guy was awesome.

I was reading in the newspapers yesterday which reported that David Carradine's family believe he was murdered by some kind of martial arts underground organisation/sect because he was giving away martial art secrets, well it was something along these lines I cant remember completely but it just sounds so out there.

The only secret martial arts have is that you learn to take hits and damage properly and condition your body to react properly to said damage, that and it's good for your health in general. Either that or the neat tricks of the trade that makes you a hit at parties, which I cannot disclose for fear of my life.

What is this? 1984? I just... can't fathom... this just can not be true... I mean... what would the actual value of these fucking moves be today if such hidden/secret moves even existed? I mean... Secrets about HIGHLY DEADLY ADVANCED WEAPONRY or INFINITE ENERGY SOURCE or GOVERNMENT COVER-UP I could understand killing over to keep secret... but fucking Martial arts secrets? I refuse to fucking believe it.


In any case, wouldn't the Martial arts moves/secrets have already been leaked else where through someone else?... especially in the age of the damn internet? Or at least wouldn't there be some other people that discovered them on their own?

Now that I think about it... while there hasn't been any murders over secrets of video games (that I know of)...BUT there has be video game related deaths in general that I know of... which is fucking retarded... sooo... yeah after more thought MAYBE this is feasible... but originally it came off of as some stupid conspiracy crap.

GAH... it's so... depressing... I still doubt this is actually a case where someone died over martial arts secrets... it just seems so unlikely.

Fist of Fear, Touch of Death.  One of the idiots in the movie claims that Bruce Lee was killed over martial arts secrets.  So this kind of claim about martial arts secrets being the reason for masters being killed has been around for a long time.  Personally I don't buy it one bit.

stupid motives are just as likely as more common ones when you take into account the overlap between those with strange and illogical reasoning and those that would murder a celebrity. do you think someone could think that thought david carradine had stolen their martial arts secrets? do you think this same person would concieve of a plan to hang him with a rope around his testicles to bring dishonor to his name and make it appear a suicide?

i don't believe this to be the case but to be ASDF;LKJASDF at the idea is pretty ignorant, especially when it's a lawyer in a setting where they're looking for other possible explanations and it probably has to do with life insurance claims etc.
