This is great news for fanboys. It has been confirmed. That outside of the 4 futurama movies that have been released. There is now 26 new episodes of futurama confirmed for 2010.

At long last. It was heartbreaking to see this show disappear, but I was happy about the movies. I'm glad the last movie wasn't the end of Futurama though, since it ended on a cliffhanger!
-
The movies stunk, I hope the new episodes smell nice
-
yea i'm not getting my hopes up for this, after all the movies turned out pretty average, i doubt these will be much better. it will give me something to watch though.
-
The movies weren't bad, but just weren't that good compared to the series. The last one was the funniest I think.
-
They well just said it was axed to get more people watching.
-
Topic should have opened with, "Good news, everyone!"
This is awesome. I love Futurama strictly for the Professor, so I really can't wait to watch him each week again.

Although I'm glad the dvd sales pulled them back out of cancellation I do have my doubts. I just hope it doesn't suffer through the same writing misshapes that shows like Scrubs and Family Guy did once they where brought back to life. I don't know about you guys but they became much less memorable as time went on... some of it being unwatchable. I know it happened with the
straight-to-dvd-movies loosely-strung-together-episode-packs but I feel a bit forgiving towards them due to the jarring format they where forced to write around. A return to their original format does sound promising though.

This last season of Scrubs picked it up in the end - the begining was cringe-worthy, but the last handful of episodes were enjoyable.
I'm excited to see more episodes of Futurama, but I hope they stepped up their game. The movies were disappointing.
-
i was watching the new season of scrubs all the way up to the first bahamas episode and then the shame finally caught up to me.
-
Scrubs is alright, those first few seasons were hilarious though so it does kinda suck how these once funny series have gone down hill. Even Friends got stale nearing the end. Only program I can think of that was consistant the whole way through is probably.. Seinfeld. That shows the shit.
Futurama was a great show, lets hope those horrid new Simpsons episodes aren't the quality they're going to give us with Futuramas return.

That's about where it started getting good again!
-
The movies weren't terrible imo, just well below the normal bar for Futurama, but I think a lot of that was having to have movie-length plots, so I'm pretty optimistic about the new episodes.
-
For "movies" that were quite awful, they were a lot better than pretty much any other show I've seen when it's gone on for such a long duration.
I'm hopeful about their return, but I'm smart enough to expect it to never be as good a show as it once was.
-
i never saw the last movie but the one with david cross in it was pretty decent the rest I don't think I laughed at all but none of them were "terrible"
-
I think the first movie was the only one that wasn't mediocre, because it actually kind of continued where the last season left off with Fry and Leela's relationship.
-
Being a Futurama fan, I really hope the new episodes were worth all this longtime wait.
-
Wow, I just came. This is very clearly the greatest news I could've heard.
I finally get to see more Amy!
-
more zapp please

Knew this for about 4 months ago... what's going to happen to fox executive powder... it stoped the rashes instantly.
