So I know a few people don't like them. Think they demean women and all kinds of other shit. That makes sense to me and I'd agree with it but ladies gotta make a living and if I want to see titties and they're willing to do it then I'll damn sure support them.
I've had some pretty crazy times at em' before though. I remember a few months ago I went to one and some old black dude told me I was a prophet or some crazy ass shit.
I always try to go and strike conversation with the strippers though and see what they're thinking and what they're like. I know it sounds dumb but its pretty fun and interesting and it kind of draws them to you a lil bit if you're sincere enough.
Like tonight I went to a club and was chatting with some girl who said she was 22 had 3 kids and was going to college for business administration or some shit. I told her that I didn't like going to clubs because its kind of demeaning an pretty lame and she started laughing. I had a pretty fun time because my bud paid for me because I didn't really want to go and it was fairly cool but kind of depressing.
its always depressing but you've kind of got to get past that. It can be really fun though if you can get past that. The girl said she didn't like the work but she made good money, "gotta do what you gotta do" I said and she agreed.

for my graduation my parents surprised me with a prostitute (prostitution is legal here in new zealand) which was just the weirdest thing to do ever. they were like "oh head into your room, there's a surprise waiting for you" and i thought it'd be something cool and before i opened the door mum says 'oh you'll need this' and hands me a condom.
turns out i knew the girl from highschool so we just talked (i wasn't going to have sex with her anyway) and caught up. she said it's usually not too but you get a lot of guys who treat you as an object like literally, like they barely acknowledge that you're another person and that's pretty weird but not too bad until they start getting rough/thrusting too deep.
EDIT: this was fake sorry i don't even know why
-
ahahahahahaha
holy shit dude. Thats a crazy thing for parents to do.
I dunno I just feel like saying some stupid shit like "HEY YER HOT WHATS UP ?" is incredibly shallow and lame. knowing that the conversation will go absolutely nowhere and I'll leave alone no matter what but I'll have fun with it and maybe learn a lil bit in the process is much healthier then hitting on a stripper that is paid to be a sex object and wasting both of our time. But I guess if you look rich enough they'll try to go home with you but I don't look rich and I don't want that either.

I've always thought strip clubs were incredibly corny. I can't take the whole experience seriously to begin with and to compound on that there's always a bunch of dudes twice my age in there who are REALLY into it so there's this whole silliness factor.
i dunno the whole experience of going to a club is so absurd that I can't ever bring myself to pay the cover charge to get in if I'm even remotely sober.
-
I went to a strip club once and it was the lamest experience ever. Like DietCoke said there would be groups of people my age who would be REALLY INTO IT. Like there was this bunch of british guys who kept jumping around reapeating 'This is nuts!!' to each other over and over and I sort of wanted to leave right there.
And besides that it was really sleazy and gross and I can't imagine anyone wanting to work or even be there. It was mostly just trashy girls walking around touching british dudes on the dick.
why didnt they touch me on the dick...
-
The only strip clubs I have been in were in Grand Theft Auto games.
-
i went in one when i got fogged on land when i was due to fly offshore. it was just for a funny time with fellow offshore workers and i had a "private dance" which cost like £10 and lasted 2 minutes. you couldnt touch and some old woman was sittting in the corner i guess in case i tried anything! i was really drunk and it was just kinda bad.
all in all pretty lame!
-
I went to one not long after I turned 18. All of the girls at the club really loved their job, but most were still doing it as a temporary thing. I had a pretty good time there talking with the girls and getting the occasional lap dance, but to be honest, it wasn't sexy at all. The girls were very attractive, but even when they were shoving their tits into my face, I just couldn't get turned on by it.
-
yeah its hard.
Everyone saying its sleazy and corny and you can't take it serious is exactly right. I also cannot go sober and that is kind of the point. I guess we got lucky or something because it was a weds night and there were only like 3 or 4 other customers in the entire place. Its one of those things that you can only do pretty rarely imo.
-
I got really sick of strip clubs after about my third go. And yet I found myself there a few more times with the bro's for lack of anything better to do.
I remember my first time at 18, and it was all like "OH SHIT IM GONE HAVE A BONER" but you become quickly desensitized to the whole pleasure of a topless woman flaunting her shit. It's the worst kind of tease.
I look at it like this: it's like paying 10 bucks to get into the dirtiest bar in town. You pay way too much for alcohol, and they're playing the worst imaginable music at all times. The patrons are all creepy, old, or mexican (jk i like mexicans). Honestly if I wanted some drunken stimulation, I'd go to an actual club or bar and talk to a woman who isn't shaking her ass at me for the benjamins.
-
I've never been to one but the whole concept of them seems really abhorrent and demeaning and i just couldn't support that kind of thing. That and I'd just feel like the biggest loser in the entire world if i went to one.
End of the day the strippers are the worst part of a, chances are, already horrible place to be.
-
I went to a stripclub once, but there were no titties. And I don't see it demeaning to women (or men) if they enjoy working there.
-
Really? You don't see how a bunch of men throwing $1 bills at a naked woman on a stage is demeaning sexual objectification?
Sure some of the girls themselves may have a good time and think its a great job because its easy and the pay is good, but if you just take a look at the institution and ask yourself "what's going on here?" its pretty clear that a strip club not a very empowering situation for women socially.
-
Its a whole different story for male strippers because the whole patriarchy thing isn't involved. But the tackiness of paying for what amounts to an emotionally detatched pseudo-sexual experience of having someone rub their genitals on you is still there.
-
yeah like I said its lame as fuck but its kind of like watching a car accident or going to a party in a really shitty neighborhood full of gangbangers or something like that its got its own kind of fucked up charm to it.
Thats why I like going to new orleans so much esp after Katrina
-
I know many strippers don't like to be there, but I have met some that have a lot of fun with it. These are girls in high school that would flash someone just for the hell of it.
A huge downside is, like any young person who ends up with loads of cash, some of these girls get heavy into drugs and alcohol, either at work or elsewhere. The atmosphere kind of perpetuates it.
-
Went once but it was really shitty one, so I didn't have a real feel of the concept.
The demeaning thing is bullshit.
But I'm not interested, I'd only go if I'm pushed there by friends.
-
Me and a few mates were all pretty wasted one night and were in town so walking past the strip club one of my decides to walk in. Next thing I know were still their around closing time just talking to the girls. Pretty weird night, but I wouldn't intentionally go to a strip club sober or drunk/high.
-
I went once man and it was depressing as fuck and scary. I went with my gf and three mates. There were like 40 year old computer technicians sitting on their own and drooling over ugly flat chested teens with huge self-made tattoos, no thanks!
-
it's really sad on those monday/tuesday nights, where its strictly B-team.
-
i went two times. once it was in the beach and i paid my cover just cuz it was a novel thing for me. it was ok. the second time i didnt want to pay for that shit but a friend was mad into that shit so he just paid my cover. some trashy girl sat on my dick and asked me to buy a drink. i didnt have money so i told her i did not have money and she got mad. i never got the whole thing cuz if i am gonna watch titties but be unable to touch them i might as well watch porn
-
a lot of middle class kids go to the strip clubs to get lapdances in mexico. ive never wanted to shell money into that shit because i imagine it would get me rock hard and i would just want to fuck a girl making the experience incredibly frustrating

in guam the strippers go all out.
My bud told me the lap dances are only 3$ and they want you to touch them and are very enthusiastic about it.
-
i went like a month ago for the first time with two girls and another guy
we don't have $1 bills here so we can't really do that here (and i wouldn't want to throw around 5s, i always wondered how it would work here), and there was no cover/no minimum but we felt extremely awkward just sitting there so we bought the cheapest thing on the menu. which was a bottle of beer. which was $8.75.
the girls were all pretty good looking but yeah not erotic at all. they all stay on for about 4 songs and are naked by the middle of the third.
-
oh yeah true, we have plastic money in new zealand so i wonder how that works. coins.
-
yeah i was thinking about the coin issue today. they got them $1 and $2 Euro dollars now and other countries like Poland have their own similar coin denominations. This is very practical but bad for two reasons:
a) working at a restaurant getting tips would suck as your pockets would weigh a ton by the end of the shift
b) how to tip a stripper????? ?
i've never been to a strip club and don't really feel like going but I guess if someone invites me I will probably go just out of curiosity.
-
coin behind her ear!
-
are you supposed to tip in most european countries
-
Women are capable of making decisions for themselves. I'd say it's more demeaning to say that strip clubs are demeaning towards women, since it asserts that women aren't able to avoid or get out of a position at a strip club. Every stripper I've known (and I've known a lot) are there by their own choice; they find it fun, empowering, just want the money, or love stealing clothes/shoes from other strippers. And meth. Strippers love meth. Lots and lots of meth.
-
demeaning women blah blah guys who are really into it and it just seems wrong blah blah I agree with all of that stuff but there is one more thing on my mind:
I haven't seen any women I would consider attractive doing a strip club. Or do I just think they're unattractive because they're being all crass, sliding dirty blankets across the skin of their cha-chas (I am referencing a dive I was in where that happened—they slid around the stage on this nasty-ass looking blanket) (maybe that's normal, I don't know). Anyway, big fake titties, fake tans, fake hair, tons of make up, a nasty "I think I'm sooo hot and naughty" attitude. So unappealing imo.
-
we don't have $1 bills here so we can't really do that here
just flick loonies and toonies at em
-
Don't do that, that just pisses 'em off.
-
U call ilt demeaning, but a woman only has to be comfortable with her body and all she has to do is show off what her momma gave her and get paid hard earned money by a bunch of horny dudes just getting a cock tease. I think its the men getting exploited. and its halarious. and couch dances and vip rooms are where the money is.

I haven't been to a strip culb over here in germany, but my friend has and apparently you buy "Stripper Dollars" that you give them and they turn them to their boss at the end of the night for their tips in Euros
-
That sounds engineered for the employers to exploit.
-
I have heard of this before and I think it's mostly done on the theory that you basically don't treat it like real money and end up spending a lot more.
