Ya I used to make games and be into the whole RPG making thing but not so much anymore but the community still draws me in which I think means there is good potential for the site to be alive and active again.

Then summoner got me a premium account which opened doors to my downloading. (thank you summoner). I have nothing really important to say usually and I find this forum just entertaining. From the drama to the updates on world events (I found out first [around ][/around] of mj's death through gamingw) to as well as the random shit that is gamingw. I used to make rpg maker games but never released anything because I was always sidetracked by something or other. This is the only forum I attend as far as forums go. I usually stay out of the loop and just enjoy the forums as a spectator more so than a poster. I have had a few drinks before I posted this so I am definitely pouring my heart out over here. I was invited by a few people to join irc (since I am a noob at irc), tried it for a week or so, then stopped going on. my xbl account is mugumb0. I used to do art which got posted either here or devart. some people walk around calling me maurice because I speak of the pompitous of love. Aside from that GW, I am an average member with an average sense of justice. I think so and so should be placed behind bars. Im not saying its you dragonx I think you are a rad guy.. Well heres is my introductory statement, see you all in a brighter future.

Dude, I totally failed at THE LAW; I found Law a bit too boring to devote THE REST OF MY LIFE TO!!!!

I went into teaching instead XD. A fraction of the pay, but at least I got to have good times instead of memorising statutes!!!!

The name's Matt, I'm from Montreal. I'm really not into the game making scene anymore although I do play a few games here and there. I play drums and I started messing around on my guitar again. I'm currently studying to go study music at a university level. Besides that I like to read and listen to music. My music tastes vary from classical (especially Romantic period) to jazz to doom metal and everything in between. The one genre I pretty much can't stand except for a few songs is rap.

I've been using RPG Maker since like 1999 (RM95), but did not start a game project until early 2002, then I eventually got RM2000 and RM2003, and that's why I am still into this wonderful hobby. So you could consider me a RM veteran. My favorite RPG Maker is 2k3, and my least favorite is VX.

To be honest, I have never released a good RPG Maker game in my life, only one shitty Dragon Ball Z fan sequel with only ONE mission. But in summer 2005, I started a project, then scrapped it in 2007. In fall of 2008, I restarted my project and called it Runic Cipher. Eversince then, I've been putting alot of work into the game, and I hope to release a successful demo here at Gaming World on August 10, 2009!

Other than that, I like to listen to heavy metal (no trendy mainstream shit), study history, ride my bike, exercise, play drums, draw, and play around with my good ol' roms from the SNES days! I miss how sites were back in the 90s..so simple!

I used to hang around here around 2003/2004, and came back briefly a few years ago. In my general wanderings on the internet I came back to this place, and realized how much has changed. So, I figured I should start posting again. :3

Anyway, a little about myself... I'm a spriter, writer, and all that nice stuff. I've been working with RPGmaker for about 9 years now, though I haven't managed to finish anything of note yet. However, I've gotten to the point with my sprites that I'm doing commission work, so I guess it wasn't all for naught. :3 My current project is "Chrono Ark", and hopefully (barring the usual catastrophic things that tend to pop up in my life), we should have a demo out sometime this spring.

I was on the end of my Iraq deployment and I ran into... some medical problems. (For you nosy types I spent a full week in a psych ward... nuff said in regards to that) I'm off my contract in a few short weeks, and then ill be back in civilian life and with ten times as much time to work on my projects. I Really am sorry for leaving as I did, but my health was in a severely depleted state. Im recovering nicely and since this all happened ive been twice as inspired to work on my games. So im back full time now. Missed you guys... well some of you at least ;-)

i think the only reason to have it is that some people find it so necessary to introduce themselves despite it being entirely useless, and so having the thread cuts down on the number of people who would have made an entire thread welcoming themselves to the forum

I'm Chewy. Some of you probably remember me for making that rugrats fanfiction (http://www.fanfiction.net/~chewy2007) and pissing off some mods here. The 2007 in my name is to differentiate myself from the other chewies, though pretty much nobody uses chewy as a handle anymore, so I keep the 2007 just because, now. I made a couple more fics since the last time I really tried to hang around here, you'll probably enjoy them if you liked my older stuff. I'm still stumped on what that sixth rugrats chapter's gonna be about, but I do have other fanfic projects besides that one now, so do expect more stuff from me soon.
