One of the only things I have never been able to understand about the Rpg Maker 2003 is setting up different battle types such as Pincer, Back Attack, and Surround. What I want to know is how do I set it up so that any random battle will choose between these automatically without having to be your typical "Boss Battle" (if possible). Do I have to set up the Monster Placement to "Automatic" instead of "Manual"? Granted, I haven't seen any games that actually have this set kind of thing set up (outside of boss battles), so I have no previous experience with this.

yea Automatic must be on cause it moves your battlers around

Is there any way to set up roughly how often you'll encounter a different kind of battle aside from the standard? Whenever I try to test my game, I go through quite a few battles but I never encounter anything aside from the default "No Special Conditions" kind of battle.

Well the entire idea of it being random is that you can't alter the result ... so, no.
