That's pretty dumb, so let's direct this topic somewhere for real:  what are things you want but could only justify buying if you had infinite money to spend?

The only thing I'd get if I was rich is a small house in Europe in which I'd have a professional home studio and the Sonor SQ2 drumset with 2 double bass drums, 2x DW9000s and some Paiste cymbals.

This is $14, so you don't have to be THAT rich to justify that purchase (although you still need SOME amount of extra spending money to be worth it).  I want one too, and idk maybe if I had $250 of pure spending money I could see it.

See now something else they had on freshome (which I saw when I saw that faucet also) were thermal tiles for showers that changed colors with temperature, but the tiles were $17 each.  So, a whole shower would cost quite a lot.  Still, it would totally be in my dream home.

edit: oh the faucet is $20 for the red AND blue, that's the only one that's worth getting imo

My problem is that if I had that spending money there are too many other things I'd get before that faucet.

Whoa, this forum is geekier than I thought.

Me and my girlfriend were taking a walk on our first night in London and spotted these unbelievable glass towers right next to Battersea Park. It's practically on the river bank and must have a great view of the London skyline. I actually googled them (used google earth's street photos to check the name of the building, quite the detective I might boast) and checked if they have free apartments. It looks like they were built very recently and there were plenty, I downloaded the brochures for the best candidates. My favourite is the penthouse next to the river, you could probably dive to the Thames if you wanted to. Fucking London, nothing's gonna keep me out of that place for long.

if i was six and I had twelve thousand dollars worth of Legos, I'd be a happy kid. we had a lot but we had nowhere near that much. My brother and I would get LEGOs three to four times a year from the time we were three up until I turned 10 and he turned 11. so many legos.

If it was that kind of money. I'd buy a place and make it into a hobby and card shop. I'd have tons of space to host events and put it smack dab in the middle of a place that has no business with hobbies or collectibles just because that's why I never grew up having one in my town. (I wouldn't have to worry about it not making any money, because I'd only do it if I had an obscene amount of money to blow anyhow)

I'd buy the lego set and hire my friends to help me build all the shit. I'd probably contract general steel for my gaint lego set storage warehouse needs. Place it next to the card shop for promotional reasons and provide free admission.

well it's not my actual room, it's something i found searching for "otaku room" on google. if that dream ever became a reality i would of course make my own adjustments. i'd have many more plushies and videogames of all types and make the manga shelves more organized and stuff like that.

edit: Also I just realized I would seriously buy an island in some warm temperate zone. Like, in the Mediterranean. Somewhere I am pretty sure they don't have islands readily available for sale. Then I'd build a super awesome house on it and then I'd spend a huge amount of money of making it totally self-sufficient.

anyways, I'd use my INFINITE MONEY to spend tons of time and money researching giant robot technology, have some kinda 'mech built, and then buy a shittton of land and build like a fake city. Then trash it. Then rebuild it.

I'd also work on having my mind/soul/whatever transferred to a robot factory. I would be a factory that builds robots that would be connected to a hivemind (my mind). I literally wouldn't do shit with this except have myself fight myself in large battles.

I'd buy insane amounts of AP in Shin Megaten Imagine Online. I'd walk around with sick items that you know only the highest amount of AP could be bought with it. I'd buy about 12 million lindens in Second Life and open a island of my own in the vitural world and make a statue of my avatar and some  bizarre maze for people to find treasure in with linden dollars. I'd have a full rider's set in Imagine and like a full demon list and I'd sell AP items for dirt cheap to players for some macca.

Hmm, pretty much all my wild spending would more than likely be online based rather than real life, except for maybe some anime outfits so I could get weird looks when I walk into a mall wearing an expensive cosplay outfit. Oh, and a cherry on top, I would buy money in Miss Bimbo just for the hell of it. Yup. Lots of money.

The "man's room" thing is the first thing I thought too, but it grossed me out too much to think about and that's when I realized the lack of video games.

I would get a limo with chandeliers on the front like isaac hayes in escape from new york. I would also get my eyes laser corrected and an expensive suit.

I would replace my crappy celeron laptop with a MacBook and live somewhere I don't refer to flatmates as "those fat horrible bitches".

I would have a plane crash on my estate so that when the wreckage has cooled I can go play in it and pretend that I am in a post-apocalyptic computer game.

I would buy a high-definition video camera.

actually i'm not very wealthy either and i certainly don't got it broad. it pissed me off too when i hear about it in real life. but thinkin about it in reality i'd probably do the same after paying my bills and all that crap.

I probably wouldn't buy much if I was extremely rich. Having a lot of shit/toys/etc weighs you down and keeps you at home. I'd prefer to be out n' about blowing obscene amounts of cash on overpriced alcohol and picking drunken fights with the elites.
