I've had problems with choppy sound in the past that were fixed with a BIOS flash. Today my wireless card started freaking out. It wasn't the network, because other clients were working fine. I had extremely high ping, extremely slow speed, and eventually it just cutout until I reinstalled the driver. It seems to be working fine now, but while playing WoW I started having graphics issues. Suddenly my framerate dropped dramatically. I checked the task manager thinking it was AVG trying to do a scan or something, but nothing. The problem persists, and is accompanied by the same sound issues I had before. I tried flashing the BIOS, but this had no effect. I used the WD scanner to check my HDD to make sure it wasn't failing and corrupting the OS install or anything, but it passed the SMART test. What else could this be? Or is it time I lay the old gal to rest?

I ended up buying the Asus M4A78 PRO motherboard and the Phenom II 720, but I cannot get any video out of it. I've tried it with both the onboard HD3200 and my own 8800GT and it won't give me any signal. Any ideas?
Solved it. :0

There ended up being an extra standoff underneath the motherboard, so when I mounted it all sorts of trouble came up.
