Title: Metal Gear Philanthropy Fan Movie Done!

Apparently the whole movie is done now, and it's been released in H264 and XVID.

As well as online streaming..

(dont know if this has been posted already or not, I already tried the gamingw search feature)

**EDIT: man... the acting is so poor, and the lines are really really bad.
At least some of the action parts are okay..

Yeah, the acting and the writing isn't perfect, but I saw on worse on TV. The CG is amazing for some fan project though. Those Metal Gears are awesome.

The thing about this film, obviously is that it was made over a huge length of time, the skills of those involved have improved over time and it's incredibly noticeable. The beginning parts are amateur, they're not good... But once you get to where trailer 1 starts, with the shootouts, the action and all that, it's expertly crafted; especially the edition and composition which are top notch. Really they succeed highly with those sections with the amount of chaos infused and whatnot.

Post by: The Dude on September 30, 2009, 04:58:57 pm: I'm enjoying this emencely. Was looking for something to watch on TV and this beats even Stargate. Very well done for a fanfilm, and it sticks to the source material well. Downloading the last three parts now.

But yeah, it wasn't nearly as good as later on. The after-credits joke was kinda funny too.

I couldn't help but laugh a couple of times at the acting, but overall I thought it was superb, especially for a fan made movie.
I mean, if this was hollywood, I'd probably be all over it.(In rage and yelling and what not) But it isn't. It's definitely not something I'd watch again, but if you
have an hour to spare, give it a shot. It won't kill you.
