I just bought a new laptop with an LED screen, and along with it a bunch of different soft cloths for wiping glass and monitors. The problem is that every one of them seem to leave marks and/or residue on the surface, which end up looking even worse than before. This is really annoying because what starts as a tiny spot ends up looking like a big smeared-out grease stain.
What is the best way to clean an LED screen?
-
Try using alcohol it dissolves the grease

slegeghammer

I use eye glasses cleaner.

i'm guessing you mean an LCD screen, or like an OLED screen or something paper towel, little tiny amount of warm water and soap. rub the screen until everythings gone, then dry it until everything's gone. just like cleaning a window really
-
have you tried to put it through the laundry

you're mother >

If it's a glass LCD screen just use windex or whatever. eyeglasses cleaner also works really well. For a TFT screen all you need is water and a soft cloth.
-
I just use one of those electronic wipes i got at wal-mart. It doesn't leave residue when i'm wiping the monitor.

This is what I do too, maybe it depends on the brand or something though. The ones I used worked very well and didn't leave anything.

idk if you can get this at your local cheapo electronics shop but here I got a "LCD Cleaning Kit"
which is basically a microfiber cloth and some liquid/gel that you spray on the screen before wiping
it works REALLY well
unfortunately i dropped my bottle and it broke

there are special cleaner for that one ,and you couldn't use alcohol,it is so harmful to your screen, and that thing is not cheap at all, many online shops have these.
here is some info (http://www.dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?type=id&q=d35635&ru=2780023),you can have a look.then, you can follow the instruction.
