When I was a kid my mom used to take me to a homeopath when I got sick and while it was all a waste of time it never did me any harm because homeopathy is just water/sugar anyway however I think it's funny people still believe in that.
How about you? Have you ever tried ear candling? Mercury tea? Radiestesy? Medieval medicine? Or do you know someone who uses/does any of that and is a true believer in it (lol doktormartini)?
Share your experiences with charlatanism and pseudoscience in general.

some of my friends are really into health food... i mean it's good to be conscious about it but a lot of people just get obsessive. anyway, they usually give some weird pseudoscientific reasons for benefits
-
lol for the most part homeopathy is just placebo effect (There are a SMALL number that have slight effects), ear candling doesn't work and is possibly dangerous, and what is Radiestesty and I've never heard of Mercury Tea (Mercury is a toxin).
Also that video is a joke but it's dumb because homeopathy isn't used for serious emergency situtations like that.
Weird pseudoscience benefits for health food???
