How many of you buttlords have heard of it? I snagged an invite and checked it out, figured we could get something going on GW for it, or maybe not, donglords.

I checked if it's legit, apparently it's run/managed/founded by Kathy Savitt, who used to be Vice President at Amazon.com and the CMO at American Eagle. It wasn't super long before I found "unboxing videos" of nerds opening their swag they got from Lockerz.

Essentially you get points (or ptz, as they call it) for doing mediocre tasks, being as simple as logging in and answering questions via their website. It's in beta, so there isn't much to do, but eventually they'll give you points for playing games, watching movies, you know, all of that.
General Knowledge
- Prizes are restocked on the 15th of every month (redemption period)
- You get 2ptz for logging in each day, and 2ptz for answering their daily
- Inviting somebody gets you 2ptz
- You have a chance to get 1-50ptz when you make your account and play the introductory game (I got 41, it's not too hard)
So come on nerds, let's start an invite chain, yeah? I guess PM or post your e-mail and I'll send you guys an invite, and then you can send other members an invite and we'll keep the ball rolling. I'm going to update this thread when/if I manage to get something (with pictures, of course), and I advise any of you do the same.

I don't know, I've heard different success stories from people who managed to snag shit, I figured it would be a good time waster to collect points anyway.

uh yeah a FEW people manage to get stuff, it's not a scam, it's just that they don't have near the stocks of stuff they need to satisfy even a small portion of their members
don't get me wrong FREE STUFF so i'm not going to stop trying, i'm just saying don't get your hopes up dudes everything gets sold out in minutes
think of it like the bags of crap on woot -- you can get one, but it requires a lot of PURE LUCK

Yeah I have one. I don't have any invites or whatever though. I just keep accumulating points every day and I seem to be around 170 now? I remember the last restock took about an hour to go sold out though. These people also don't seem to have any idea how to manage their website appropriately for what they're trying to do. So like, I don't see it lasting too long...so snag as much shit as possible.

No man it took WAY less than an hour to sell out, a lot of shit wasn't showing up as in and out of stock properly and a lot of stuff was updated a good hour or so after they announced they were going to restock it, so overall it took significantly less than an hour to actually sell it out from the time it was legitimately available

I'm waiting to see how things pan out. They're paying for all of this out of their own pockets at the moment in order to generate more interest. I know somebody who works for them, and supposedly they're going to be aiming for a huge community based on more than just redeeming points for prizes. I don't want to say too much, but when it comes out of Beta (mid to late November), redeeming points should be a lot easier.

I'm active on Lockerz and it is indeed legit, but as Velfarre says it's 99% impossible to get anything currently. By the time they take the site out of what is effectively beta you can expect the prizes to be a LOT more expensive. They've already raised the prices twice, and it's going to get worse.
But wow you need to have a macro or something ready if you're serious about redeeming a prize. I was as ready as humanely possible the third time they restocked... I entered all the info within a matter of seconds (address and shit) and still was unable to snag the prize.
