I've been thinking of picking up blazblue but aren't they coming out with another version? Also how is Battle Fantasia?BlazBlue: Continuum Shift is only available in arcades in Japan and no console release date has been given at all.
I've been tempted to get Street Fighter 4 on my PC, but it's still $40 on Steam... And with Super Street Fighter 4 just around the corner.....To my knowledge, SSF4 isn't getting a PC release at all.
Supposedly Rose is going to be much better, which is great news since I used her most. Can't wait for that.
To my knowledge, SSF4 isn't getting a PC release at all. That's fine, since I'll be getting it for the PS3.
if anybody wants to play sf4 on pc, longdogislong is my gfwl.I might add you but I'm pretty terrible so eh. I'm also in Australia so eh.
although I prefer playing Continuum Shift on PC (the arcade has been emulated perfectly, granted you have a capable pc)
Dudley, Ibuki, and Makoto are now confirmed for SSF4 for those who are unaware. One more character to be revealed, and heavy speculation predicts it to be a new Middle Eastern grappler type named Hakan.
oh man
it's gonna suck learning all the matchups again, not just the old ones but the new ones too. and with ssf4 being selected as the default for evo this year (which i'll be going to!), many of the current players will probably get caught off guard and lose to things they're not really familiar with
like, there's so much content in this game. it's pretty amazing when i think about it35 characters, hell yes. This is a very large roster for a Street Fighter game.
this will be the best fighting game ever
if you disagree then you are wrong!
yeah ive been following CSW for a while. Their faq says only 36 playable characters, (which is still impressive for built from ground up game from mugen), but their website has thousands of "cards".

definitely looking forward to that game. it's just too bad that mugen doesn't have online play. i mean, 80% of the fun in playing a fighting game is playing it with someone else!Yeah, that's a pain in the ass. Really the only "good" way to play with someone is to get two gamepads and sit at the computer with a friend, but who wants to do that?
Turns out Marvel vs Capcom 3 is gonna be 3D, somewhat like Street Fighter 4. I have no issues with this really, but the legions of fanboys do.
Also Chris from Resident Evil 5 is confirmed. Would have been better if they added Leon instead.
leon 4 lyfe fuck crhis
dear capcom:hahahaha
this time ACTUALLY put phoenix wright in it
sincerely, v-fire
The only Resident Evil game i've played is 5 and i loved it (Probably my favorite Next-Gen game) but i'm gunna try 4 today.Man if you thought RE5 was a good game then RE4 should amaze you. Comparatively (or just in general, really), Resident Evil 5 was a pretty mediocre game.
hahahaha
also guys i forgot to mention this, but i got ssf4 pretty early :DFuuuuuuuuuck you.
so if you're curious about anything and can't wait until tuesday or w/e, then feel free to ask questions!
is anyone still playing super smash bros brawl or is that to old
Blame the guy that brought up SSB in a fighting games topic.
I'm not saying that SSB doesn't qualify for this topic, but if someone is defending themselves mentioning a non-fighting game in a fight game topic is obviously going to use this excuse: "Well, when I saw those people talking about Super Smash Bros, I momentarily forgot that this topic is exclusive to fighting games. Since I am always forgetting how Super Smash Bros technically qualifies as a fighting game, I see someone else mention it, and cannot help but assume that this topic is open for discussion of any game genre I may happen to be playing."
