Title: [fixed] How do I change the bootable partition letter?
Post by: Mince Wobley on February 11, 2010, 02:21:17 pm
So I was upgrading my sister's PC and decided to place a newer hard drive (which is much faster than the one she had) and I used HDClone to clone the old hd contents into the new one. It worked but if I unplug the old HD windows will think the cloned partitions are called E: and G: instead of C: and D: and it boots but it gets stuck at the welcome screen.

How do I change the letters from E and G to C and D? Is there a bootable CD image that can do this?

edit: nevermind I already found out
