Me (Sodom) fighting Soap (Zangief). You'll notice that I have 4 wins in the corner. That means that I beat him in four consecutive rounds. This is actually untrue, I beat him in 6 consecutive rounds but the game crashed after 2 and we had to restart. Looks like we know who the REAL master is, huh Soap?

You're not fit to be a street sweeper, let alone a street fighter. Go practice, maybe it'll do you some good. Hmph, or maybe not.

LT and I had a little match of Super Turbo earlier. He decided to be an asshole and use Honda's counter characters when I'm still learning how to use him, but I quickly switched to Guile and Ryu, this was the result:

I hate MvC in every single way imanginable and never play it. We went neck and neck for almost every match until he whipped out dual venoms and finaly beat him after those 5 rounds.

Not to mention my strategy was to mash buttions with and super when it looked like i could land it.

I played that guy too actually. I beat the shit out of him as long as I kept on blocking.

It's like... he has super fucking awesome combo's, yes he does, and if one hit gets through then pretty much everything Rock can pull off gets through. However he couldn't take mind-games for shit so, I Jae Hoon'ed him outta this world. I'd do his JUUSEERA-long-range-sweep-and-then-fire-kick-thing from a distance, and his dive-kick-break-into-fire-overhead-followed-up-with-a-super over and over and he never learned.

Of course he still won 2 outta 3 matches but hey what can you do when he does 3x as much damage as me every time he hits.


Actually now that I think of it I see a lot of guys like this, especially in Last Blade 2. It's like they've been practicing combo's for years but haven't got a clue about tactics. In LB2 a lot of guys can do 50% damage combo's without using supers, so they win the first... 8 matches, but then they keep doing the same stuff over and over so you just keep on punishing them, and they never learn.

Thats because (imo) people don't learn to adapt. They learn some combos and think they are hot shit. They learn professional techniques and think they are hot shit. There is more to just learning combos and doing professional techniques in a fighter. Personally, this is why "random scrubs" seem to do pretty good for a bit. These people expect you to play their way, and when you don't it screws them up until they figure it out and adapt.

A lot of the online people don't seem to do the adapt part though. Espically in MvC.

I won with Roll. 5 times. I'd turtle until they'd do a delaying movie that Roll could robot super into.

He gets his ass handed over if he has no obvious chance to attack, but you can tell he's got great execution but doesn't know when the fuck to use any of it. I just started playing random fucks on kaillerra and most of them keep turning out like this!
Still, it was pretty cool watching him get RANDOM RAPE SCENES [he ][/he]all the hits[/i] and then counter randomly] every 5~10 matches.

Pretty insane. With 30 wins your opponent gains super bar energy with taunting, starts each round with P power, and gains super bar energy twice as fast.

With like 40 wins your entire bar is your TOP. (or so I am told)
