no but these are the most common, but they're pretty different brands. i was wondering which one people prefer.

ofcourse you also have lays stax or whatever but thats kinda pringles ripped off

Seriously, crisps are the most depressing thing about America. It literally is Walkers (Lays), Pringles or Doritos/some other tortilla chip. That's it.

It's disgusting.

Lays (I think these have been phased out actually!!)

Thins
Ruffles (very hard to find)
Samboy
Cool healthy ones like GRAIN WAVES (these things are amazing)
Kettle (fuckin' dellllicious)

Corn chips wise there's Doritos and CCs but yeah. I don't know why I am posting this!!

I still think they taste better, although I don't discriminate when it comes to the salt&pepper variety of competing kettle cooked chip brands. (When you eat those in england, do you call them Kettle Krisps? You guys should be.)

really tho I can't picture a place that only has those options besides maybe a corner or convenience store with mainly poor clientele. I keep tabs on crisps wherever I go and even normal suburban supermarkets have a much wider selection than that, let alone chains like trader joes and wholefoods.

these are made next to my house. I think they still use lard but they may have switched to something healthier or vegetarian

Post by: Frisky SKeleton on March 15, 2010, 12:05:47 am: it's pretty darn hard to mess up potato chips imo, like flavour wise. they're what, 20% potato, 30% oil, 49% salt, 1% chemical X. even if you mess up chemical x the rest of the potato is still the same, like the WORST CHIPS i've ever had haven't been inedible by any means, unless you count soggy or stale but that's not the manufacturers fault generally.
