Title: new John Frusciante song is pretty fuckin' good
Post by: Ryan on September 01, 2010, 06:24:12 pm: this came out a few months ago apparently but i've just now gotten a chance to listen to it. i like it a lot! it reminds me a lot of his older stuff (would fit well on Shadows Collide with People imo) which is very refreshing after the empyrean

I saw some stuff about him being kind of in and then not in a couple of other bands, but nothing about solo music yet. I'm still checking up on that frusciante news weekly.

Was this going to happen? I like some music by both those dudes so I think I'd like the resuilt if they went to bed and fucked out a song together.

Edit: Have you heard vsnares's stuff under the name Last Step? Because it's the same sort of stuff techno acid dance music in 27.5/4 time signature

random fucks on Warp Records not Squarepusher so much not Autechre so much but the new album was interesting u-ziq Venetian Snares not Flashbulb yes Frog Pocket possibly Wisp I can't decide if he's good yet not Richard Devine Burial might be good have to look into him more he seems like MASSIVE ATTACK 2 at times which is good because massive attack jumped the shark like 12 albums ago back in 2002 or something. Also The Knife Fever Ray whatever getting more out of just checking out random people on netlabels right now

also most breakcore sucks but this guy is decent
