Is anyone else orgasming at the prospect of this, or is it just me? I LOVED the original crusader kings as it mixes the grand strategy of the Europa Universalis series with a healthy dose of characterisation and roleplaying.
Instead of playing a nation, you play an individual count, duke or king with their own demense and vassals. Instead of aiming to conquer everywhere, the aim is to establish a great house, a dynasty bearing your surname. The original contained territory wars, historical events, papal influence, fighting the infidels, and constantly fighting your own heirs!
It's such a fun game. I suggest checking the original out to anyone into strategy with roleplaying elements.
