Title: Music Festivals
Post by: ATARI on April 05, 2011, 02:46:25 pm
Hey I've got 2 questions.

Anybody going to any festivals this summer, and if so, what festivals?

I have never been to a festival before, but I'm hoping to go to at least one this summer.  Right now I have tentative plans to go to lollapalooza with a buddy of mine, but there is a chance that he might not be able to go.   Are festivals any fun if you don't have your pals along?

Got a 3-day ticket to Tuska* Festival 2011. It's a yearly Finnish heavy metal festival and one of the biggest metal festivals in Scandinavia (if not the biggest). Some great bands there this year along with a brand new venue. This will be my fourth time attending the festival. Always been sunny which is a plus! Last time I got a neat leather fedora there for myself. :)

Some bands I plan to EXPERIENCE:

Amon Amarth
Devin Townsend
Blind Guardian
Katatonia
Epica
Amorphis
Wintersun
Moonsorrow
Tarot

More info @ www.tuska-festival.fi (http://www.tuska-festival.fi)!

* Tuska is a Finnish and means Pain/Agony/Suffering

I haven't got any money right now.

I really want to see System of a Down at Download but the rest of the line-up is shit.

Sonisphere this year is beastly but £190 which is really too expensive. http://uk.sonispherefestivals.com/

The last gig I saw was Kyuss and that was great. That's my lot until my first payday. Oh well.

I'm seeing Mogwai at the end of the month.  In the next couple months I'm seeing Paul Simon and Moody Blues. I recently saw Sarah McLachlan and Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

actually yeah I think he did. I know he played one for sure might have been a lil rhythm though.

They only did about half of alot of songs there, he and whoever came out would switch through a bunch of songs pretty quick because they were still missin folks I think. He did 6ft 7ft though and that was really awesome. Also drake came out which I didn't expect.

You might be familiar wow power leveling (http://www.mmopowerlevel.net) with the concept of spirit guides. In fact, you probably think of them as
angels, or totems or guardian wow power leveling (http://www.mogxe.com/PowerLevel.php?gid=1) spirits. It does not necessarily have to have the name
for it to be one -- whatever you wow power leveling (http://www.mmopowerlevel.net/powerlist.php?fid=688) may call them, the basic idea behind this
is that there is a non-physical entity wow gold (http://www.mogxe.com/BuyGold.php?gid=1) or entities that are aware of you and guiding you. Whatever
this entity might be, it all depends aion gold (http://www.mogxe.com/BuyGold.php?gid=21) on you. Spirit guides can take many forms and it is up to
you to get in touch with your own cheap wow power leveling (http://www.mogxe.com/PowerLevel.php?gid=1) and get to know it more. Do you want to get
in touch with yours? I would also buy wow power leveling (http://www.mogxe.com/PowerLevel.php?gid=1) encourage you to try automatic writing. In
automatic writing, you let your hand warcraft gold (http://www.mmopowerlevel.net/buy.php) write anything -- anything without being conscious or
aware of what you are writing. The aion powerleveling (http://www.mmopowerlevel.net/powerlist.php?fid=7422) underlying belief here is that when you
relax enough and open enough to cheap aion power leveling (http://www.mogxe.com/PowerLevel.php?gid=21) connect with your spirit guide, then that
guide will guide what you write and help you make better decisions.

well lollapalooza just released their official lineup.  I'm not particularly pleased about most of the headliners, but I'm pretty excited to be seeing  Muse, foo fighters, APC, flogging molly, death from above 1979, deftones, arctic monkeys, and the motherfucking CARS
