Title: SW Troubadours : Next Album?
Post by: Madolah on May 18, 2011, 02:10:59 am: So I wanna get the next album on the go for next month. That's if there is enough interest. Seeing as how last one was killed because School folks, Most people are out or almost outta school soon, So hopefully some contributors can contribute...

Pick an idea or post one of your own, Highest 2 voted after MAY 30th Will be Put into another poll Ending 24hrs later.

Album kicks off June 1st ! with an ~2 month submission period.

I'm gonna be back home on june 17th with alot of time off and I really want to do something for this if anyones willing to collab with me that would be awesome cus I'm gonna be lackin in the instrumental section.

I'm thinking about trying to rap or maybe doing a raw southern blues or maybe country song depending on my ideas and mood. or a cover of paint it black, I could def do an awesome paint it black.

I'll do pretty much anything though and I'm prolly gonna wanna write something too cus I keep thinking up lyrics anyways I can't get out my head.

Edit: heres a suggestion, lets do a album about gettin some. bout gettin yo freak on. love songs funk songs fuck songs. that would be cool we don't usually do stuff like that.

oh I think I know what you mean by suggestion. yeah it would be cool to do a southern style album too didn't think that many people would be into that though.

Post by: Biggles on May 19, 2011, 11:01:34 am: I was gonna suggest that we do a weird kind of two-phase thing where in the first phase, everyone makes up a pack of samples, either through synthesis or recording or a combination of the two and in the second phase we make songs by mashing up the collective pool of samples. Kind of lends itself to electronic music types though I guess.

We had an Alright turnout for our first SW album, but I'd like to see more contributions/contributors for this!!!
Summer break means a great time for people to have more free time from school to work on stuff (cause lets face it, which of us have a life? ...hah) So No Excuses!!!
