Typically I just sponge the dust off my windows but I know there's a vocal minority who thinks window cleaning is the act of washing the windows. Really, who has time for that? Get a job.

the window is a metaphor for your inability to truly accept responsibility for your choices, and the dust are the parts of your personality that are obviously responsible for this attitude. the choices are now "focus on fixing aspects of your personality that negatively impact your life" and "being proactive in managing a positive outlook"

Personally I think you need to do both.
