I seriously know nothing about graphic design, poster making, or anything that is worth your time when creating something. and yet I have somehow been given the task of having to make a poster for a concert that I'm hosting later this month. So here is something that I came up with so if some of you more design savy people could take a look at it and say what they think about it, that would be super helpful. I didn't compress the size of the image, so here is a link to it http://i42.tinypic.com/33wwsir.jpg (http://i42.tinypic.com/33wwsir.jpg)

Hmm. Would it work if I say that it's obviously an amateur work (not bad not good) yet I don't know how to improve on it.

considering i don't stuff like this ever: i think thats a fine assessment

nothing lines up in your poster (it's all about proportionality) and your colour theme kinda sucks. maybe 'cause the colours are too saturated, try using less opacity or something less intense

alright. also i'm hoping to change the actual photo i was going to do a cool night scene but then my gf decided to be a bitch a not help me with that

here are two more edits one with a slightly modded background and one is just black also i changed some of the fonts, colors etc.

I like the one with the background but that's just my opinion (of course the red texts should be blue). still, the text seems awkwardly 'cluttered'
