this is out! you might remember it being posted here in beta one or two years ago. i've only played a little of it but i like it a lot so far, music + looks are great but i also like how loose it feels. i've just been bouncing around and falling down holes and that's been fun in itself. there are some cool superfluous interaction bits involving a text parser slash inventory screen that probably has a ton of neat stuff locked away in it. I misread it at first and ended up putting all my clothes in a rental car. you can find a book of poems by beautiful aged walt whitman. the story is interesting or at least i like the mixture of some kind of bizarre cowboy pastiche with peaceful jrpg village and also wizards etc, i haven't gotten far into it but there are a few touches that make me think it's gonna be something goood. this is on sale this weekend apparantly. can't get over how good the music is. i'll play more & keep posting. but will you. . . . ?

edit: probably bad or misleading choice of image since there hasnt been much combat so far, i just like how the bushes look.

I like the style, but I remember the trailers indicating that might be all it's got going for it. Like, some of the jokes were a little crumby. I'll probably still play this, though. I'm glad it is released.

I haven't seen the trailers but I haven't gotten any kind of meme-ish or internet feeling from it yet. The only jokes so far have been kind of link's awakening-level background NPC things.

I'm still playing and still like it. It kind of gives you a throwaway videogame mission at the start and vaguely points you in a direction to head in but as you walk around the world you start picking up on strange or unsettling details that the game doesn't really acknowledge yet, not only in npcs not mentioning but also no CUTSCENE CAMERA ZOOMS TO OBTRUSIVE OBJECT OR PRESENCE WHILE STARTLING SOUND PLAYS, it's all just there for you to stumble on right now and it works well. I like that a lot of the game feels comfortable with being opaque at times and not really beating you over the head with things. I'm interested in it. There are what look like some fetch quests etc but i'm hoping they turn out to be more connected with some wider picture than just Take X To Y.

I like it so far, I'm at the dreaded garbadge mines. I have some issues with the gameplay and the humor, but the overall feel keeps it entertaining. I do like how the npcs eagerly yell stuff at you that you don't completely understand and then u just wander off and poke around at stuff, like any successful zelda adventure game
