Post by: Ragnar on July 28, 2014, 10:06:02 pm
restarting a project I had planned for a while now. Supposed to be inspired by the Last Step album but not really

structure is much simpler but it's still in 11/4 lol

*smiles smugly, points at ragnar, little kid nasal slimy selfrightous chukles/giggle/snorting, everybody in the class laughs and points at ragnar, ragnar gets a dumbo hat put into his head, what a loser!*

really enjoying this one. giving me oneohtrix point never vibes (especially on the more ambient sections, which i prefer generally... wonder how a mostly beatless album would sound from you...)

great track names

not sure if I like them but ok

was originally supposed to be like analord/last step like usual. Anyway I've barely heard OPN so no influence in any case

anyway, i like it a lot, so hopefully that didn't come across as insulting!

*just that my knowledge of more 'ambient' electronic music is small (if you'd even describe it thus), and i don't have many other points of reference. i like OPN's two recent albums a lot, and listening back don't hear much of a connection at all, just some of the pads and journey-like arrangements perhaps
