This desktop wallpaper is a seal I photographed from the top of a cliff in Eshaness, about 20 mins drive away from where I live these days. I added some creative apps to my taskbar to make you think I still actually make stuff. Don't be fooled.

I give that wallpaper the "seal" of approval.

kind of loud if you actually had icons on the desktop

I used a screenshot from an itch.io game as a background for some reason

if there's any icons that reveal my name or anything please let me know but I think it's all safe

lol messy desktop. For some reason I backed up a few Reaper effects I made to the desktop, even though they're ridiculously outdated by now and should probably just delete them. Also a bunch of modular synth programs but the only one I really use is Buzz

also a text document full of song titles I generated by telling ChatGPT to generate scrambled words but it doesn't actually know if something's scrambled so it just makes nonsense words

wonder what game it is, the screenshot makes for a good otherworldly wallpaper.

idk exactly why / when I got in the habit of not having any icons but for a long time I did use folders / icons pretty extensively. now the chaos has just moved to my external hard drives. I have a "stuff to sort" folder that's just a hodgepodge of random stuff.

I'll try to find out but I might've deleted it

Still setting up linux the way I'd like on this new machine. I'm using AwesomeWM on Arch although I have KDE Plasma on here but haven't really used it.

Nice setup. I'm thinking about switching over to Linux soon myself, probably either Ubuntu, Windowmaker or something weird like that.

Ubuntu is probably one of the easier distros to get into, along with Linux Mint.

You should and you could post some screenshots here too!
