Sublime - 40 oz. to freedom
Listening to this song with my friends while driving in my 57 chevy on a lazy afternoon makes me feel like king of the world. We all like to shout along with the part that's like "whoa-HO-HOooooo, I'm NOT COMING BACK!"
-
The music I make of course
-
Windowlicker would if I had one of those cool umbrellas and could do the dance
Actually I could think of some more but it's all stuff I hear on the radio and I'm bad with song titles if I don't see them right in front of my face on Winamp screen
Edit: Music I makes
-
Afroman- Colt 45
Thats pretty much all you need.
-
voodoo child...or voodoo chile, moreso chile though.
-
Soul Vaccination by Tower of Power (I listen to it while cruising in my bigass cadillac, and I know the entire song for all the parts so I can hum or whistle along to anything, bass, trumpet, sax, vocals, drums whatever I've heard it enough times to know it all. I feel pretty sweet when this song comes on)
-
Amish Paradise. It is my equivalent of the "Imperial Death March". Well, that, or "White and Nerdy"...obviously, I'd rather be Amish....
-
Most of Mothers Milk and BSSM
-
ohhh yeah BSSM
and Uplift Mofo Party Plan
-
White Zombie's Super Charger Heaven.
-
born slippy .nuxx by underworld of course!
-
I hope you mean "Born Slippy .NUXX", Dicko!
For me? The aforementioned song, as well as "Frontier Psychiatrist" by the Avalanches and maybe "Xaul Zan's Heart" by the Non-Prophets.
ALSO (fuck me this is probably #1): Mr. Bungle - "None of them Knew They Were Robots"
-
of course i do!
fixed.
-
lee perry and mad professor - mad man dubwise (http://chef.avalanchestudios.net/11%20-%20lee%20perry%20and%20mad%20professor%20-%20mad%20man%20dubwise.mp3)
this is the coolest song in the world. i cannot think of anything that would scare white people more.
dj kool herc (http://chef.avalanchestudios.net/DJ%20Kool%20Herc%20-%20b-boys%20Jam.mp3)
this would be the coolest song in the world if it was not 30 seconds long. i really want to find out what the drums are from. i know i've heard them somewhere before.
mulatu astatke - yekerme sew (http://chef.avalanchestudios.net/05%20yekerme%20sew%20%5bmulatu%20astatke%5d.mp3)
man this song is so cool. i have never listened to it in the car or anything but i am pretty sure that i would be going 20 over the speed limit with the top down if i was.
jeff liberman - i can't change (http://chef.avalanchestudios.net/icantchange.mp3)
this song is actually horrible but apparently everyone else on the planet thinks it is the best ever. i am not one of those guys who goes around BLASTING MUSIC (that is horrible) but i have had people ask me what this song is twice at stop lights when i had the window down.
nebula - dragon's eye (http://chef.avalanchestudios.net/05%20-%20Dragon%20Eye.mp3)
you could pretty much replace this song with any stoner rock song. nebula is pretty awesome though.
earthless - godspeed (http://chef.avalanchestudios.net/earthless%20-%20rhythms%20from%20a%20cosmic%20sky%20-%2001.%20godspeed.mp3)
this song is unbelievable. it is just half an hour of ridiculous heavy stoner rock-ish soloing. i think this is the coolest GUITAR SONG i know.
cybotron - industrial lies (http://chef.avalanchestudios.net/industrial%20lies.mp3)
i think clear is a lot cooler than industrial lies but industrial lies is a better song and i didn't feel like uploading clear. but pretty much everything by cybotron is really cool.
-
I'm quite partial to Apache, by The Shadows, and its use in some rap music.
-
I hope you mean "Born Slippy .NUXX", Dicko!
For me? The aforementioned song, as well as "Frontier Psychiatrist" by the Avalanches and maybe "Xaul Zan's Heart" by the Non-Prophets.

Apart from that pretty much any summery hip hop songs make me get all strutty. Most recently it's been Keith Murray feat Tyrese - Can't Nobody Do It Better.

"Ziggy Stardust" by David Bowie
"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk
"La Césarienne" by Peste Noire
"Tie Your Mother Down" by Queen
"Earth Intruders" by Björk
-
Agreed, though it's "Going Out West" not "Moving".
Must have been thinking about the actual lyrics then, because it starts off with "Well I'm moving out west". He's usually more reliable than that - you can get the track name from the dominant lyric, like "House where nobody lives" "Georgia Lee" "Hoist that Rag" or "Make it Rain"
Also - on topic, I recently started listening to Morrissey again, so I've been driving around to "First of Our Gang to Die" from YATQ and "You Have Killed Me" from ROTT lately...
This was partially in response to the fact that if I kept driving around to Legacy by The Gone Jackals (opening song from Full Throttle), I would either be dead or neck deep in speeding tickets.
