Title: The Office - Season 4
Post by: ase on September 27, 2007, 07:26:06 pm
WHO IS FUCKIN EXCITED FOR THE OFFICE

I know I am, and VB, Rowain, Bart, Steel, JOJOFACE, jamicus and a bunch of other people keep up with this show too.

WHAT IS THIS THEOFFICE??

Quote from: 'Wikipedia
The Office is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning[1] American television comedy that debuted on NBC as a midseason replacement on March 24' date=' 2005. The show is about the daily lives of office employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of the fictitious Dunder-Mifflin Paper Company. Although fictional and scripted, the show takes the form of a documentary, with the presence of the camera often acknowledged.[/quote']

GIMME MOREO FFICE

http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/ - I recommend everyone visit the official Office website as frequently as possible. They put up a ton of shit including previews, interviews, special web-exclusive episodes, etc.

www.creedthoughts.gov.www\creedthoughts (http://blog.nbc.com/CreedThoughts/) - Anyone who enjoys the show and loves the character of Creed will enjoy the hilarious weekly blog that "Creed" posts about his life and the world around him.

HEY WHATS GOING ON I FORGOT EVERYTHING (too much *puff& 420/7))

We left the Office with a hunt for the Job at the Stanford branch. We find out that Ryan, the temp, got the job. This means Jim and Pam are still a possibility. Of course, fans such as myself are more interested in the Dwight-Angela relationship, which is just beginning to heat up after a season with such antics as Angela whoring herself out to Dwight in a hotel room, etc.

Here is the summary of the next episode which premieres TODAY (Sept. 27, 2007) at 9PM/8PM Central on NBC

Quote
Fun Run
THE RUN FOR THE CURE-SPECIAL ONE-HOUR PREMIERE - A freak accident causes Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) to feel the office is cursed. He explores the religious beliefs of his employees before deciding to hold a charity 5K fun run. Meanwhile, further developments in the romances of Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski), and Dwight (Rainn Wilson) and Angela (Angela Kinsey) are explored. B.J. Novak, Melora Hardin, Ed Helms, Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Oscar Nunez, Phyllis Smith, Paul Lieberstein, Mindy Kaling, Craig Robinson and Creed Bratton also star.

Yeah I am so excited, I'm counting down the hours!

Everyone should watch the summer vacation clips on the site too because well...

"I found out I had grandkids... and kids." - Creed

All of them are hilarious, but specifically creed's and stanley's.

Ryan seems like he's going to be kind of a faggot this season. He's going to TEAR APART dunder mifflin

I lost interest mid first season. For a show as hyped as this.... it's pretty slow and boring.

Oh, wow. I'm very pleased with how the handled the Pam/Jim thing. That was classy. There was a big chance to jump the shark by going with either of the outcomes that seemed most likely, but this manages to grant some closure without screwing up the dynamics of the show.

Well played, The Office. Well played.

EDIT: They seem to be addressing it more now, but it still seems to be handled fairly well. I liked the idea of the thing, though.

you know it wasn't bad, really. i can barely tolerate jim and pam together, though. but i've never liked jim much.

it was a funny episode. there was some gross crap like andy's bleeding nipples. don't need that, and usually when shows turn to gross jokes like that it's a sign that it's going downhill but there was still more than enough decent stuff in this one plus the fact it was an hour long. they've totally changed jan and ryan, though. ryan maybe less so. jan is a real disappointment. she's just psycho girlfriend. oh how hilarious.

you know when this show started for some reason i didn't like kevin, but everything he says now gets me laughing. and most of the time when he isn't saying anything i'm laughing, too.

dwight and angela's little story was pretty funny, too. i hope those kids can work it out cos i love their conspiratorial scenes (there was a great one near the start of this episode)

the main problem i had with jim and pam in this was that they were just running around making snide comments for an hour. it got more than a little grating. the thing that has always saved them was that while they realised the people around them are ridiculous, they still treated them like people at the end. this time they were just a couple of smarmy pricks, running around congratulating themselves for being so wry and clever. i'm not even happy for them. well, maybe pam a little cos she's going wild and totally letting her hair down.

but yeah it was cool. even though they've changed ryan, i'm interested to see him be a total asshole.

edit: also angela is getting better all the time. like kevin i never liked her at first now i think almost everything she says is funny.

...What?

I liked this episode. I thought it was pretty funny! I agree with Andy, that was just weird, but Kevin and Jim and Pam and everything came together nicely. Also Micheal hitting Meredith was freaking hilarious.

Dude I completely agree. I've noticed I feel this way every now and then, where jim and pam slip into fucking irritating 'we know what the other characters are doing is stupid/annoying and we are LAFFING AT THEM WITH THE AUDIENCE *wink wink*' mode. It's a tiny gripe in what was a pretty good episode.

This episode felt fairly different to other episodes too, pace wise. Most episodes would have a camera linger on a character during or after an awkward situation, or an extended reaction shot (I think these are gold btw) wheras this episode rushed through alot of the jokes. A perfect example of this is where Pam sees Michael's penis in his office (a joke that felt superfluous and didn't really add anything.), I would have expected Pam and michael to not make eye contact, generally avoid each other, for the other office workers to be even more disgusted at him, and for Michael to act like a bitch towards Pam, but instead Michael just immediately brings it up then mention it casually to each other for the rest of the episode.

Biggest laugh was when Creed asks Merideth what medication shes on, then rattles off a list of perscription drugs, getting more and more excited as he goes.

The part with Jan and Pam was really dumb

I think they're trying too hard to have hour long episodes! I mean, I was happy about it at first but if it's just going to get stretched and ruined (like michael's animal god) then it's probably better at half hour.
Title: The Office - Season 4
Post by: Shadowtext on September 28, 2007, 11:59:11 pm
Yeah, they can't go around contributing little more than snide remarks and acting like they're better than everyone else. Keep up behavior like that and we'll have to adopt them as honorary GW members!

Post by: Randy Moist on September 29, 2007, 01:37:00 am
There has been a serious lack of pranks by the two and like everyone else is saying too many snide comments. The Pam and Jim I like are the ones who use to make the boring office interesting. Now it seems like everything interesting is happening somewhere else.

i think maybe the nature of the show is to get old after 23 or so minutes.  like i think PARTS of this episode were pretty hilarious, but other parts just seemed kind of unnecessary.  it felt like it didn't go through as extensive an editing process or something.  aside from that i didn't really have much of a problem with it.  it was mostly just SIMPLY OKAY.  the whole meredith getting hit with a car thing was a great beginning, and him somehow finding a way to shift responsibility to rabies was also pretty funny. also angela's cat.  but mostly i just thought a lot of it ended up being superfluous, and while that would've been fine if we'd seen better shit going on in some of the other peoples' parts of the story (like we barely saw anything from creed, or kelly, or stanley) that would've filled the time effectively, it just felt to me like instead of doing that, we got a pretty good starter episode mixed with 20+ more minutes of filler.  for such a long episode, i was really hoping to see more of ryan and how big a douchebag he apparently is now, but he got like 60 seconds of airtime.  i think it would've been great as a normal length episode.

Oh man, I just saw the commercial for tonight's episode and I just need to say I CALLED IT.

Kelly (in the commercial) tells Ryan she's pregnant. Though she's probably not, because she's a fucking freak.

Still called it.

Yeah, this episode was not very funny imo. I was quite disappointed. The anti-technology premise behind it was fairly interesting but they didn't pull the jokes off that well (they were dragged out way too much).

The only thing I really laughed at was when Michael said

Ryan is a complete douche now, which is pretty awesome. Creed's new look was excellent, although he wasn't quite as funny in this episode.

Come on writers, you can do better than this.

Yeah... It feels like they're still getting into the groove. I think once the half-hour episodes start, everything's going to be good, but the whole premise of this episode was frankly disappointing for me.

Also: Kelly is a weirdo.

ALSO also: If I ever get a cat (or another dog, for that matter) I am hands-down naming it Garbage. Haha, awesome.

Given how successful the Office is, I expect we'll see them trying to make several spinoffs in a year or two. If not, I'm fairly certain that a lot of the cast will go on to get new work after the Office wraps.

Anyway, my point is "He probably will have his own show at some point."

man, i laughed a lot at that lake shit.  mostly because my mom uses one of those things and it's pretty hilarious how much people come to rely on them to get anywhere at all.  also i didn't really think the garbage thing was that funny aside from him sort of looking towards the trash can after she left like he was thinking about throwing it in there.  what i really liked was the OH IS RYAN COMING IN TODAY...... .................. and uh, the scene where she did not see a problem with her lying about being pregnant.

also, as always, creed.  i hope he and kelly and toby get more airtime this season.

Best of the season. I don't know why, but this episode was absolutely charming.

And yeah, you thought the Andy/Angela thing was SUBTLE? Andy broke out in A Capella song through two voicemails to serenade Angela. That's not really subtle.

Also, probably the best cold open ever. I think we can all relate.

once again angela was my favourite thing, also dwights reaction to the break up was actually pretty sad so i disliked him in this one like i always do. pam was the more compassionate one, but that's bullshit sexism on the show's part so fuck that.

it was a funny hour. dwight angela and andy just became the most interesting parts of the show, so well done on all relevant parts.
Title: The Office - Season 4
Post by: Artis Leon Ivey Jr on October 14, 2007, 02:46:48 am
man, I'm not sure I'd call it sexism so much as realism. we know Jim plays pranks on Dwight all the time, Pam usually does the more harmless stuff, and she's known about the relationship longer and felt bad for Dwight etc.

it's actually one of the better shows as far as gender goes I think, as well as race! part of it though is because they have Michael make an insensitive joke or something and everyone cringes.

That was definitely the best episode this season. Lots of character development from pretty much everyone. I was really impressed. The conversation between jan and michael at the end was hilarious. Also when michael went running for the train. The camera panned to the window and I was wondering what I was supposed to be looking at, until it showed michael running outside and went back to the train.

That whole conversation reminded me of Seasons 1 & 2. I miss that.

"Everyone in the engine room drowned."

BUT - Best episode of the season. EASILY. I actually probably enjoyed this than almost every episode in Season 3 also. This was a fantastic episode. Good episode. A bit of a more emotionally charged episode, for sure. The best part of the episode was either the entire 'whomever' conversation, the Jim & Pam kiss, Mose running alongside the car, or the end with Michael and Jan. It was so... Believable. Episode.

The thing is that sympathizing with him is one of the biggest things that make Michael different from the boss on the UK version. It's really impressive that they can make you feel bad for a guy that is so completely obnoxious and who, in our real lives, most of us would never associate with by choice.

yeah, the episode was okay.  i still think that this full hour timeslot thing isn't really ideal for the type of show it is, though.  daryl was pretty funny, though.  like aside from the whoever/whomever thing, he and kelly in that room was a great scene in itself.  "I GOT PLANS TONIGHT."  it was good.  i didn't really understand how jan didn't know that he was broke because she is spending ridiculous amounts of money (or is that still mostly him?).  it seemed kind of odd.

Yeah, I got the impression after his little finances talk with Oscar that Michael was really the one spending most of his money, even though he blamed Jan. Jan might be a control freak, but she knows how much money Michael makes (she gave him his last raise!), and she's not stupid.

I only caught the last part of that (the two commercials) and yeah, Michael's commercial was really good! It's a little too long to be opening credits, I think, but otherwise it would be a great idea.

How was the rest of the episode?

it was pretty excellent overall really. Pretty much like everyone predicted.. that they'd hit their stride when they went back to 30 minute format, and they certainly did.

Also I can't WAIT to see Pam vs. Karen pretty much.

Yea it was a great episode, my favorite of the season. I particularly liked the scene with Phyllis and Kevin disrupting the club. I hope the club becomes a sort of reoccurring thing for sure. Oh and as always awesome to see Toby involved a little.

Edit: Did Karen not get that Jim didn't want to be there because they were on a 'panty' raid? she has always been kind of dumb in my opinion.

I wasn't crazy about this one. It seemed pretty CRAZY, especially with Micheal doing that to Jim. He's usually more sensitive and, dare I say, understanding of Jim because he considers him his friend.

Also I was disappointed that Karen didn't visit the Scranton branch and face-off with Pam or anything. The club wasn't exciting imo either.

yeah, i don't think karen's reaction was over the top at all, either.  she was just kind of being exceedingly sarcastic which is a pretty normal way for people to express their anger and frustration at people, which of course she would still have since she hadn't seen him since he just left her at a fountain or whatever the fuck.  i read this thread before i watched the episode and was expecting some crazy outburst, but it was pretty normal i thought!  jim's acting all throughout the episode was excellent, though.  like, some of the funniest shit i've seen from him so far in the series.

so uh.... I guess no one watched The Office last week.

It was an above average episode, if not simply for Michael's sudden desire to become a better person by getting lost in the Pennsylvania wilderness.
Creed was hilarious with his insistance for Peach cobbler, although the whole Office Birthday Party subplot was pretty dumb, imo.
Michael's ability to get many uses out of his pants and Dwight's reactions were awesome.

I thought it was a pretty dumb episode. Michael's time telling was pretty funny and all of creeds parts (specifically the walk out and 'tell angela it's for creed. she'll know what that means')

Also dwight with the rifle.

also his desire wasn't to become a better person. it was just to prove that a man surviving alone in the woods is better than a camping trip with a bunch of boys because he was jealous of toby. michael is not deep enough to think about becoming a better person.

"When I return, I hope to be a completely changed human being."

I kind of took this as Michael's foolish belief that going into the woods was going to lead to some sort of cathartic or meditative state (which would, in turn, make him a changed and better man). Yeah, he definitely wanted to have his own slice of camping after not being invited to the camping trip (I WISH I COULD HAVE GONE WITH RYAN ON THAT COOL RETREAT!) but Michael is also known for hilariously believing he is more intelligent than he actually is, and in this case that meant trying to do the "deep" thing and go to the woods to change himself (and survive).

Man, I laughed so hard when Dwight took the blow dart out of the toilet. Telling time in the woods was also great.

I'm surprised the things you guys are choosing to focus on, since I thought the most significant bit of character development was the parallelism they were developing between Michael and Jim. The office birthday party thing *was* dumb, but it was dumb to show that link between Michael and Jim, which is important. I think they're foreshadowing Jim quitting Dunder Mifflin once and for all before too long. Especially coupled with his stuff from his Second Life thingy.
Title: The Office - Season 4
Post by: Cheesy Doritos on November 13, 2007, 09:57:38 pm
Yeah... Those were the best five minutes imo. That was REAL characterization. Michael is imo smarter than we think, and underestimated. Jim is on a track to be like him, somewhat; Phyllis calling him Michael pushed that along as well. I wonder how this'll be handled?

i didn't think it was dumb.  i mean, a lot of their premises are pretty dumb if you just take a step back and look at them,  but i like how it served to focus on how jim did in michael's shoes and, later on, helped to draw a parallel between he and michael, which was pretty ridiculous!  you could actively seen this normalization where michael became a bit more like a normal person and jim's humor got a bit dumber, and at the end they were startlingly similar.

A) you posted it like 5 minutes after the episode had ended
B) you revealed the ending of the episode (which in most episodes would be such a big deal but this one was pretty CLIMAX BASED so...)
C) You're allowed to talk about them after they've aired but just posting WOW THIS IS HOW IT ENDED is usually something that should be tagged.

That's... not what I did? What are you talking about? Yeah, it was an important part of the episode, but it was (holy shit oh my god) AFTER THE EPISODE AIRED. Why SHOULDN'T I be able to talk about it?! It's not my fault if someone taped the episode but hadn't watched it yet, but then proceeded into the thread about it. Why shouldn't I say what I liked or didn't like about the episode, even five minutes? Why the hell should that matter? I don't know if you're just being an weirdo or you went into the topic before watching the episode, or something, but the point is you shouldn't go into the topic after the episode aired and NOT EXPECT 'spoilers'. Hell, I posted it a HALF HOUR after the episode aired, buddy.

To make this post more relevant (sorry about the rant but DEFEND MY HONOR and all that), I actually was rooting for Pam to kick Kelly's ass in ping-pong. This way was great, too, though. I really loved the part with Dwight and Jim playing, and then them talking about Darryl being the client. Also the cold-open was pretty funny, with Ryan and all.

Title: The Office - Season 4

i think the main problem is that though the episode had already been over for you when you had posted, many people in other timezones have had no chance to watch it yet(in may case you had posted at 7:00, 2 hours before it airs).

if you must post spoilers either way a couple hours or add a spoiler tag(why is this so hard?)
Title: The Office - Season 4

One could argue that you take your chances when you come into a thread about a show a minute after a new epiosode that you haven't seen airs to begin with. 60% of the conversation in this thread is going to be spoiler-laden. It'd almost be less work to add spoiler tags to the stuff that isn't a spoiler.
Title: The Office - Season 4
Post by: Sarah on November 17, 2007, 06:40:07 pm
Well, talking about the episode after it's happened and mentioning specific scenes that were funny (for the office) is pretty much how it always goes. And yeah, you should expect some spoilers, but each poster should use some discretion in what they're choosing to say, and when it's so obviously a BIG THING like the end of last weeks episode, it's pretty clear that you should be using spoiler tags. Especially when you're posting MINUTES after the show has aired. As time passes it's a little more acceptable to not use spoiler tags (although still appreciated).

I often randomly click threads that I go into often (like this one) and start reading. Sometimes I'll do it before I've seen an episode. It is nice to know that although some of the less important parts are being talked about, I won't have accidentally stumble across a plot twist in the middle of most posters sentences.

It was half and hour for me, so stop saying it was MINUTES. I think I'm entitled to defend myself. Like Shadowtext said, you should expect spoilers in these kinds of topics. I'm sorry if spoiled anything for you, Dead Phoenix. Be reasonable, Myke. My god. I hadn't counted on you going into the topic, a half hour after the episode aired, and NOT expecting spoilers. It wasn't dickish behavior, it was me talking about the goddamn episode I had just watched. If you haven't seen the episode, don't go into the topic. When I miss the Office and tape it, I don't GO into the topic before I watch it. Want to know why? COMMON SENSE. Jesus christ, I didn't do anything wrong, so stop crying because you saw a spoiler after the episode aired. In the future, I'll wait a little longer for the people in vastly different timezones, but i'm not going to put a every time I say something that could be considered GIVING IT AWAY. Jesus.

Yeah, so, the Office is probably coming back soon hopefully, and I had a question. Up until several days ago, I had always regarded Jim as the main character of the show. However, a friend of mine said Michael was. I thought this was absurd, however, I later introduced my sister to the show and asked the same answer, and she said the same thing. This got me thinking! I had always thought Jim was so obviously the most developed, but after re-watching some of the old episodes, Michael does get a LOT of screentime! I just was wondering what you guys thought.

Title: The Office - Season 4
Post by: Shadowtext on January 22, 2008, 04:30:07 am
It's an ensemble show. Steve Carell is clearly the break out star actor of the show, in terms of billing and what it's done for his career, but the lead character....that's a little more tricky. Michael, Jim, Pam, and maybe Dwight are the most prominent characters, but to say that any of them was the main character....I think it would be a bit of a disservice to the others.

Also, I don't think the Office is coming back anytime soon. The WGA strike still isn't over, and the season's pretty much shot now anyway. Maybe they'll move up the 2008-2009 TV season, but I wouldn't expect new episodes of anything that's finished out its episode order until Summer at the earliest.

Maybe they'll throw something together for May sweeps, but that's probably only going to happen if they can make a breakthrough within the month. Right now it's looking like the Upfronts are going to be cancelled, and I wouldn't depend on much scripted television being used for sweeps, either, the way things are going now.

MAJOR BUMP

Ok so THE OFFICE IS BACK starting this Thursday Apr. 10, 2008 at 9PM

[blockquote]GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER - Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) find they have run out of excuses and are forced to go to Jan (Melora Hardin) and Michael's (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) house for dinner. When Andy (Ed Helms) and Angela (Angela Kinsey) are also invited to dinner, Dwight's (Rainn Wilson) jealousy gets the best of him. Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Oscar Nunez, Phyllis Smith, Paul Lieberstein, Mindy Kaling and Creed Bratton also star. [/blockquote]

Don't watch this interview video if you don't want a major Angela spoiler:

So basically if you watch all of the interviews on www.nbc.com/The_Office you'd see that the actors are all convinced that this new episode's script is the funniest ever. We'll see about that....

Here's an actual preview of the episode:

I AM FUCKING EXCITED ARE YOU FUCKING EXCITED

Yeah... Easily best episode I've seen in all of Season 4. I guess this strike paid off in the end, as I'd rather have this quality and a half-year wait than continue with those god awful episodes from the beginning.

I loved how as you went through the episode, you gradually saw

The best scene in the whole episode was when they walked into the bedroom and the camera was still set up. I laughed so fucking hard there.

Ahahahahahha, Jim's face was priceless then. It was a great episode. Really, really great, I guess the strike paid off! Hopefully the quality stays up there.

Oscar Meyer Wiener Lover and Kevin entirely were the best things about the episode I think.

Also yeah, I was so amazed with the tie-my-shoe scene. Genius.

ahahaht he five families how gay is this.

oh christ the starbuck's part made me put my head on the keyboard so i didn't have to look at the screen.

this starbucks thing is just really bad.

this kevin thing is good! he got the spaces!

this jim and pam and stuff is really CUTE!!! but also kind of gay. ohhh shit a ring.

oh god are they at...chair girl...stoned and dead RIP.

the untied shoe was a great ending, as is american pie.

all in all this ep had nothing on last week's and the awkward parts weren't as funny as they were just painful, but it was very kawaii jam omg etc so I guess those people got a kick out of it. pretty good and nice to see them hit their stride again.

Poor Jim and Pam kept messing up (I know how to throw a football!)

Well, Jenna Fischer (Pam) said that , so... But still, that was kind of weird of him to do that, he's usually pretty reserved.

Also Ryan... Not what I expected at all! That's kind of upsetting that this would happen, it seems too 'real life' for the show even though it's a kind of mockumentary.  :fogetmmh:

in regards to what Jenna Fischer said and who it almost certainly applies to:

also apparently at one point Ryan mentions Jim talking to the boss about the website during a Christmas party, an episode that apparently never aired because of the strike.

Yeah Dwight's thing was cool, and the madlibs were funny. I was really expecting more of an angry-type climactic moment for Michael, the resolution let me down some. I expected him to go through with the plan.

Also fff Toby is a giant ass I think. That was a complete dick move. Ugh... Toby... I hate all the things that you choose to be...

Ok, you may think I am crazy. But read on.

In the last episode, at the end...the guy who tells Pam about the graphic job design. Pause the frickin tv. It looks exactly like Jim. His eyes. His voice. His forhead. Its a shitty disguise. Just watch that shit! He tells her that the job opening is in Philly or NewYork. Well back in season 2 i think it is, Jim mimics Dwites video game, makes himself. He makes himself a sports writer in PHILLY.

I've created a very elaborate theory, that Jim somehow traveled to that highschool (20 minute roundtrip Pam said, not far away), for the end of it or something. This is somehow tied in to how he will ask her to marry him, since he is a romantic, big idea kinda guy.

idk lol...just been thinking hahahaha.

That, uh... Doesn't sound too plausible. However I forgot about the (Second) Second Life Avatar thing and with Philly being an option, that is definitely not a coincidence. That's pretty cool actually!

I watched the episode again (after reading some Office Tally comments, I figured I'd take another look at this GRAPHICS DESIGNER GUY). It SOUNDS like Jim. He does this little half-smile thing like Jim, but I find it hard to believe they would go through that trouble just so they could convince Pam to move to Philly or NY with Jim when they buy a house (oh yeah, cause they got engaged away from the camera)and Ryan loses his Job and Jim gets his job and Pam goes on to Art school.

Ummm oh my god! That was easily, EASILY one of the best Office episodes ever, I think! The whole deal with Michael and Holly, and him , and the whole Dwight-Andy-Angela thing, and Phyllis's little storyline, were all awesome. I really loved the Jim-Pam thing, but tbh I'm somewhat pissed that the ending was of Anyway the thing with Kevin being like a handicapped guy and all was hilarious, and Michael's present to Toby and everything. Just a really solid, funny, great episode.
Title: The Office - Season 4
Post by: ase on May 16, 2008, 02:22:55 am
holy fuck that was a great episode! not the FUNNIEST, although the Kevin storyline is in my top-5 sub-plots. Just SO MUCH SHIT HAPPENED!

"If we hung Holly from a tree, we'd have to kiss her" and "She's the best thing to happen to this company since World War II"

Mose does a cameo!!! Michael trying to read his interview questions using positive tones was the best, And who can forget Toby saying "DOES ANYONE HAVE A CAMERA??"

Basically this was one of the best episodes ever and I'm glad they finally took advantage of the one-hour slot instead of filling it with space-fillers.
Title: The Office - Season 4
Post by: Artis Leon Ivey Jr on May 16, 2008, 02:34:58 am
what I like about the ending is how it doesn't seem like season 2 or 3's ending at all. they really have a good sense of uh...upgrading or changing their style. it's pretty neat!

also none of the hour feels wasted.

also I really liked the ending I think. having the proposal go off without a hitch would be so fucking easy to do, and I liked this one better and thought it was orchestrated better because now we have a whole summer and if I remember right, some time does pass in the show.

meaning he's not proposing during all of summer most likely...

uh oh

I also liked when Angela accepted Andy's proposal, you see Dwight is crushed and at the interview he says "it was my fault anyways" and that's it. like, he just wholely regrets how it all turned out.

basically I liked this a lot.

I really dug this episode. I agree with ASE as it wasn't the funniest episode, but it was full of plot and twists, and was really great. The whole Kevin thing was hilarious, and I hope Holly becomes a main character next season (and doesn't end up leaving in the middle).
