Yes, this MMO is absolutely FREE!
Hey everyone! RyanThunder here.
I've recently discovered a nice little gem of a MMO. Dubbed as "Skid Rush" in Korea, Drift City is a fast-paced driving/racing MMO that just came out around Sept. 5th in America!

I've taken some screenies of the official website to help you get an understanding of how the game works.

So, yea, put your pedal to the metal and join the fun!

There is also a korean MMO that rips off mario kart.

I saw that AD on the back of my latest Game Informer. The first thing that I thought of was "Wow, that looks like Mario Kart." I don't remember the URL.
-
It's only kind of related because it deals with unusual MMOs, but I found a fishing MMO yesterday that I would try if it wasn't Windows-only.

Thats Kart Rider, and its one of the most powerful + popular games in Korea. It is one of the first games to beat StarCraft over there, and roughly 1/4th of South Korea has played Kart Rider at least once. So yeah.
-
Another Korean game, eh? Can't say I'm too interested because, like every other Korean game in existence, this one also probably focuses on playing matches, earning currency, leveling up, and buying cars (obvious), and stupid little "avatar upgrades" which are in every damn game those people put out.
-
Yea that's another thing: this game has a surprisingly clean translation. I haven't come across a typo that I know of yet.
Oh, and also, leveling isn't so bad either. It tends to go kind of quick, but then again I am only Lv. 18 as of now.
-
Looks interesting. I'm downloading it now.
-
By the way, DarkNecrid, this might be a good addition to your MMO Games v2 thread!
-
I know, I'll get around to it when I have time.
-
Man that looks awesome. I'm definitely going to try it.

As usual we've been getting the dumbed down version of the game. We've been missing out on things like huge boss HUVs that take 50+ cars to take out, more cars in general and stuff like that. I hope they put out an update and/or patch soon!

This is the way for everything that comes from a foreign country like this, over here.
You'll get it....eventually!

That sounds so ridiculous that I have to ask... how the hell does THAT work?

Neat concept and all but it's a really boring game. There are no weapons or anything and you can't even damage your car.
-
The controls and actions you can pull off in this game (like boosting to bash, or rather
flip, away cars and the drifting) really look like those in the cruisin' exotica/usa games.
Doesn't look too innovative though, but it'll probably be a good play. I might try it this
weekend.

This game is really fun to play.
The quests tend to be a bit monotonous and the car physics are odd sometimes (mostly how it handles airtime), but thankfully the competitive racing is really fun.
-
A world full of cars and nothing else, this sounds so sad
-
Oh man, they just added a ton of new shit in the patch. Now you can add neon lights to your car, decals, and other cool stuff!
-
Actually, I might try this out.

Sweet...

idk why this was bumped but i actually did try this game out recently and it was kinda fun not gonna lie (tho having to do a bunch of mmo "go from one place to another" shit sucked a lot)
I also played Project Torque which was far more rad.
