Other then 'swings though the air' BC and Spider Man don't have much in common(Hell, even the way they swing though the air is fundamentally different).

Yeah, isn't he a bionic COMMANDO (ie shoots everything in sight?). As it is right now it just looks like a Spiderman clone with a level designer who spends not nearly enough time at home and probably hasn't fed his cat(s) in weeks.

... which is apparently nothing more than the finally completed version of the one everyone hated/ nobody played for PS2.

I have my hopes on the new Bionic Commando.

There are like, a dozen trailers of the game right now and I'm pretty sure I saw a handful of them with him shooting people in the face using his gun.

So yeah there's somethign besides WEE I SWING AROUND

It took them long enough to rob the grave on this.

At least they had the sense to remix the original stage 1 theme. Probably one of the best NES soundtracks IMO.

Actually I'm very excited for this as well.  I just think the whole 'lol it looks like spider man' thing is stupid, but then again maybe i'm the only one who seems to think there's a difference between the 'Swing physics'(or whatever you wanna call it) of the spider man and BC games.
For those of you who haven't picked up on it yet, you actually have to aim where your swinging in this game as oppose to spider man's 'Hold R2 and swing forever, whether or not there is anything for you to swing on'.  Its what made BC better then the spider man games in the first place, imo.

well, i just thought that, much like the notion of you even thinking about lecturing someone on being petty, this entire thread was pretty ironic after seeing that entire street fighter topic.  so am i so "petty" as to point out a double standard concerning videogame trailer evaluations?  i can't believe you'd even need to ask!  but yeah what a dick i am for coming into a topic that illustrates the exact point i made in the previous topic and making a minor joke about how said point is being illustrated.  so petty..............

that's maybe not a fair comparison, but mostly because the SF trailer had nothing and this has nothing but is at least honest about it.

Man, you cannot "trademark" an effecient method of transportation. You might be able to patent it, but last time I checked, spiderman was a fictional character and thusly cannot issue legal patents.

Basically I agree with Chainer, at least this new Bionic Commando isn't Devil May Cry mixed with Kingdom Hearts.

This looks great. I got the movie off PSN a while ago, and still excited. Not only am I a huge Spider-Man 2/Spider-Man Ultimate fan, I loved Bionic Commando. This is going to totally rock.

woah, nostalgic. not sure what else to say, looks interesting though. Might be fun on the Wii... it is coming out on the Wii right? doesn't say what console it is.
