One time when I was young I had a nightmare that someone had a wart and it grew tendrils. One of the tendrils burst and the house filled up with blood. Warts have really really grossed me out ever since, and this thing really creeps me out:

EDIT: watch the videos :blarg:

Man, he looks like some kind of wood golem. For some reason I got the distinct image of running through the woods covered in moss with like squirrels and birds around him.
-
Oh, dude, weiiiiiird.
-
Wow. Just....wow.
-
Yeah, we're having (or had) one of those one hour specials MY AMAZING BODY shows with this guy.
I didn't/won't watch it tho cos I never watch those things.
-
Jesus christ.
-
Poor guy, that's very unfortunate for him. Obviously let's hope they're able to help him out and live the remainder of his life (relatively) normally.
-
...wow. That is pretty amazing, actually. Wow!
EDIT: A link to another article on the same page just got a LOLWUT from me: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/11/14/nbikesex114.xml

How the fuck did he put that shirt on?
-
God, this is terrifying. He is like something out of anime! It is really freaky thinking that one day you could just grow roots.
Christo, I saw that too. It was pretty hilarious. Some woman walked in on him having sex with a bike and he said "What do you want, hen?" and then continued having sex with the bike. It sounds like a sketch comedy act.
Kassey, maybe he NEVER TOOK IT OFF!
-
christ wow. I thought it might be papillomavirus, a different strand of the virus in rabbits led to the legend of the Jackalope http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackalope
here is the entire "my shocking stort" series by the way http://www.discoverychannel.co.uk/myshockingstory/sleepsex/index.shtml

He's a better man then me, if that was me I'd probably light myself on fire.
That makes my skin feel uncomfortable and gross just looking at it.
-
I had seen that disease during class. It's not that rare, really.
-
I've never seen a person like that or even heard about a person like that.
I wonder if he'd be allowed to box

Didn't you claim to have this disease once
-
If this baffles medical experts, than why are they called medical experts?
just a thought...
-
Yeah, Mr. OH-GOD-IM-TURNING-INTO-A-PLANT-ARGgGG-ClimbTREE

Oh, I don't know...maybe because it's impossible for them to know about every virus/disease/mutation out there.
-
Didn't you claim to have this disease once
actually, according to cannon, i had been a plant all along and that cancelled out my downsyndrome
somebody gave me the link because of those claims though
-
wow, this is really... well, it's kinda cool, actually. he looks like a tree. like someone said before, he looks like he's from an anime or something (thinking Yu Yu Hakusho...) :O but yeah. i mean, it's sad too. he must be a really brave person; i can't imagine living like that. woooow~ :O
-

Well, it's not exactly common.
-
I wonder what his genatalia looks like. :hmm:
Also, his sons are 18 and 16... they hardly need looking after at this age.
-
That is incredibly disturbing.
-
This is really gross. I don't want to sound like an ass or anything but this made me a little queezy. I can handle tumors and regular warts, but i think it is just the fact that they look so much NOT like flesh that really gets me. this is really interesting though. must be a pretty shitty life though, i feel pretty bad for the guy.
-
That's more scary then anything, knowing that you can turn into a tree. *shudders violently*
-
Hes an...an...Ent!!!
But yeah, hopefully this will turn out in his favor, with the operation and such...
-
Wow, Jesus Christ. I'm usually not moved by the worst of the Internet but this one made me keel over with primal dread. Made me feel all the worse since he seems like a pretty stable, happy and nice guy, despite also being a half-ent Lovecraftian horror. I can't understand how he deals with it. I wonder how young exactly he was when those things started growing?

I think it was after his 14th birthday or summin, didn't watch the show on this guy but I've heard of him before.
-
Wow... Just wow...
I think it's it amazing he still smiles and is still 'healthy.'
On the first picture, I noticed something that resembles leaves to the left of his knee... Anyone see that?
And, if his hands are as tough as wood, it would hurt like hell to be punched by him...
I hope he gets cured. And lives to see grandkids. This seriously makes you think about the trippy diseases in the world, doesn't it?
-
He prolly never washes his hands, thinking it would make the roots grow faster. wonder if theyll all go whitish-yellow if they put him in a dark room for too long.
-
Let's add him to our league of mutant super-heros.
-
"your cell structure is closer to plants than to animals. We've seen similiar things before in the wild, never in a human. Plants can cope easier with extra chromosomes and the like, do you understand?"

This is creeping me out even more than it should.
also
"Mom, Dad, I retook my biopsy and it looks like I am turning into a tree."

I feel incredibly dirty for saying this, but "Got wood?".
Also, this (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/11/13/wgun113.xml) has to be the dumbest guy ever.
"If at first you don't succeed, get the gun!"

Life over there is exactly how British comedy depicts it to be
Also everyone is the same two/three guys dressed up as old ladies half the time
But yeah it's amazing tree-guy is so HAPPY despite everything
-
I like alot shotemups, i´ll download this.......
-
Chi... Chimera...

Then they must not have grown very quickly - if his children are aged 18 and 16 and he's now 35, he must have fathered them about when he was 16 - 20, and I can't imagine there being many women who would want to sleep with that (if he even still has a functional penis somewhere inside the growths)
-
I guess we can add this to the list of real life superheroes, voila http://paranormal.about.com/library/weekly/aa072400a.htm

Skin gets so fucking disgusting when it goes wrong.
