'It's about pretty girls,' says Pharrell Williams
NERD have been in the studio recording the follow-up to 2004's 'Fly Or Die'.
Frontman and producer Pharrell Williams told NME.COM that the trio are aiming to release the as-yet-untitled album next spring.
"We're almost done with the album - we're like one song away," said Williams. "We plan to release it next March or April."
Williams, who is also known as a solo artist and a part of production duo The Neptunes, said the new album goes back to "what we do".
"It also has a lot to do with pretty girls," he added.
I don't even know how anyone feels about n.e.r.d. or their big headed ego frontman Pharrell, but I for one liked both of their previous albums so I'm looking forward to this one, especially if it's going to be more like their In Search Of... cd.

I liked their first album, didn't really like the second one. I'll check this one out, but I doubt that I'll pay money for it.

Hmm, interesting. I wasn't a fan of their last album because of how juvenile and garage band it was, but if they're returning to their roots then GOOD. Chad Hugo is a very talented producer when he wants to be.
Now...the "pretty girls" thing sounds ludicrous. I'm not sure if I want to hear what's been done by them (and everyone else!) a million times already.
