Title: PS3 display issues on a 32" LCD tv
Post by: Tweaked_1551 on November 28, 2007, 11:51:44 pm
Anyone else having display issues with using a PS3 on a 32" LCD TV?

It's I think an overscan issue. I notice that when I downloaded a COD4 wallpaper and set it as my background like... probably somewhere along the lines of maybe 3 cm total was cut off from the top and bottom and maybe like a cm from the left and probably 2 cm from the right, (this is in relation to the rest of the screen).

Also the right border of the Playstation store is way smaller than the left border.

And PS2 games are just unplayable in full mode, I have to set it to normal mode.

I just need to know if it's because of my TV.

I used the PS3 on my parent's TV it's roughly 50" and is plasma instead of LCD so I'm not sure.

Besides switching through the widescreen modes on both your TV and your PS3, not much you can do. And its not all 32" LCD TVs, I'm sure. Try googling your tv's make and model and maybe you can find some more specific information to help you out.
