So my little character battle didnt go so well, I got a better idea and trust me. Its alot better. Tell me about your favorite character(s). Why you like them, how long you have liked them you know, all that fun stuff. Also, are they like you.
Personaly I like Cloud from Final Fantasy, he is alot like me. Stuck up but yet takes care of his friends. I took him awhile to really care about things, but once he realized how much of an ass hole he was. He did a complete 360*.
I feel now, after seeing the results of my little character battle, this is alot better ha ha ha.

I like Tifa in final fantasy because she is the epitome of an independant strong-willed woman and she is always able to fight her corner and stick up to her ideals no matter what the scenario or danger in front of her.

Actually, the correct term would be that he did a complete 180. Doing a 360 would take the person exactly where they started.

I am most like Frog from Chrono Trigger because I am a knight from 600 A.D., whose real name is Glenn. I was a squire (presumably) under Cyrus, a "Knight of the Square Table." I had a notably close, although platonic, friendship with Queen Leene. I later witnessed Cyrus's death at the hands of Magus, and shortly afterwards, was transformed into an anthropomorphic frog by the dark wizard. I dedicates my life to protecting Queen Leene and vowed to avenge Cyrus by killing Magus. Blaming myself for failing to be strong, I am depicted as chivalric but mired in regret over the past. I am the true bearer of the Masamune, an ancient sword whose offensive capabilities against magic users is Magus's major weakness. I can later put Cyrus' ghost to rest, regaining my courage and clearing my conscience, and I have the opportunity to either defeat or ally myself with Magus. I wields a broadsword and can learn "Water" magic once I meet Spekkio; like Robo, I also feature a few healing techs.
My Japanese name, Kaeru, is a pun as this can be read both as "frog"（蛙）or the verb "to transform, to change" (変える). In the English translation I speaks in a grandiose, semi-Shakespearean manner, using words such as 'thou' 'thee' and 'shalt,' though strangely no one else from his era speaks that way—including me myself, when shown in flashbacks as Glenn. In the Japanese version, I do not speak with the "Middle Ages Accent", and instead talks rather rudely. In Chrono Cross, a similar-looking but unrelated character named Glenn appears.
And that is why I am most like Frog.

I am like the main character in Dragon Warrior because I'm mute and walk in place for no reason and regardless of whether I'm wearing boxer shorts or some legendary jewel-encrusted armor my appearance doesn't change at all (unless it's the first one then I get SWOD and SHEILD)

@ Feld : Hells yeah, Fei was an amazing character. I really wish my PS2 wasnt burning when I turn it on, cause I would really love to play Xenogears again. It's my favorite RPG!

(and I don't honestly think Remy is gay (from a canonical stand point...) but I would not be surprised if he was.)
(also Tatsu, I would miss Remy if he wasn't around, if only because then there would be no Guile-esque character, I mean...Urien is cool and all my running at your foe and summoning forcefields isn't near as cool as throwing sonic booms and doing flash kicks.)

he is bottom tier, he is basically tied with tizoc on the USEFUL scale (read: sucks hairy dick). He has no good AA (a downward slash that hits like 1.5 pixels in front of him and has the worst priority ever = does not count), his basic combo(s) rely on 3 slashes that are super predictable and the hardest part to figure out about them is DOES THE SECOND ONE HIT LOW OR NOT? which is easy, and they are super easy to JD as well.
his supers are decent, too bad the only way you're going to combo them is either on feint (for not so good damage), on counter hit (good luck all your moves suck ass), or on the worst fucking brake move in the game (a fucking flip in the air which won't even work if the enemy is in the corner).
he has no good moves at all except maybe 1 air attack, his LURCH AT YOU super (which is easily grabbed), and thats about it.
he is just terribad, so bad that there is no one in Howard Arena who even bothers to play his sorry ass but they will still play Tizoc.

also since Hundley was a joke vote, my real favorite video game character is Akuma/Gouki, because he is misunderstood. Everyone always calls him evil, but he isn't evil! He only kills those who put up a good fight but lose, he would never hurt anyone randomly. He also drew to Oro, who fought him with 1 arm. Plus he looks amazing.

I block with the sword, it just looks cooler.
For me, nothing beats swinging the shield up just in time to avoid getting hit directly, and hearing the sickening sound it makes during an intense battle.

I liked Laguna from Final Fantasy 8 because he's in the middle of a war and then decides to go out drinking with his friends. More video game characters should be like that.

In that, you have to save the entire Universe, but you still manage to find time to have sex with a blue skinned 150 year old alien while you head towards the final battle in a ship that is capable of faster than light travel.
Also, GLaDOS for an NPC and Mario, because any fat Italian 'shroom eating plumber that can land a good looking princess is obviously doing something right (also, princess = rich).
