If anyone remembers me, which I doubt they would. :p It's been more than a year since the last time I've visited these forums (December 31, 2006) and I'm back as of today. I'm now a junior in high school (yeah, I did join Gaming World young) and I'm actually comfortable telling people about me now (until about last year I had a fear of getting raped through my computer)
My name's not really Maximo, it's *****. Call me whatever you like. My name comes from Ethiopia. It means "for the world". I go to a high school that virtually revolves around sports and not really much else. I live in the richest county in the state, and second in the United States, and my high school has the lowest overall marks for the district, and some of the worst in Colorado. That said, I still consider myself a well-educated person, but not well rounded.
I would have to say my biggest flaw is that I have virtually no artistic talent whatsoever. I originally joined Gaming World at the age of 12 so I could create video games with RPG Maker 2000. It's been 4 and a half years, but it only took 3 for me to realize that anything involving creative talent is not for me, so I've given up on that. I used to draw too. I look back at some old pictures I drew and I work hard to suppress the gag reflex.
I would say that most of my intelligence lies in making deductions, writing (I guess that's a creative talent), and general knowledge. I have matured very much in the year I've been gone, and I think that you would be able to tell simply by looking at previous posts I have made. I honestly have no idea why I'm ranting like this, but I'm pretty bored.
So yeah. I'm back :cool:

i have noticed that a lot of people from ethiopia or eritrea have last names that start with gebre or something like that - why is this

But damn PandaBear I had no idea people knew like.. anything about African cultures. We're pretty secluded. And kinda abandoned too :/ but yeah. My last name is ******, and I love Haile Selassie a lot cause I'm related to him :p. But I haven't heard anything about the Gebre thing. It's probably just a common last name. There are a lot of common last names for Ethiopians and Eritreans.
Someone should totally make a topic about everyones background cause peoples cultures and histories seem kinda interesting. But maybe thats just to me.
Oh, and about my avatar.. it was an old (REALLY old..) picture from BakaNeko lmfao.. I told you I used to try to draw (anime.. yeah. Imagine your Toonami-obsessed 12 year old trying to draw anime :p it was the same style as like Dragon Ball Z/Sailor Moon I think hahaha..)
