OBJECTION! (http://objection.mrdictionary.net/go.php?n=2511330)
Do we get to forge evidence and tell people to lie too? Either way, I'm looking forward too this, even though I haven't finished any of the other Ace Attorney games. Oh... and are we condemning innocents?
ahahah these games.
yes...the prosecutor is now a police officer.
THIS MAKES SENSE.
defense actually goes out and does a bit of investigative work (i think i mentioned going undercover at home depot once for a civil suit) if they have to, but state prosecutors only use detectives.
i feel incredibly gay because it seems like saying UGH STAR WARS SUCKS BECAUSE THERES NO SOUND IN SPACE but it really doesn't make sense that a prosecutor would go after the "real criminals" since this is what COPS do. they could just make a game about the detective and then you switch the prosecution side during court cases but I guess it's better to make it much more confusing.
I love how on the first page, It says "New... NOT!"It says NEW Gyakuten NOT Saiben. In Japan, the series is called Gyakuten Saiben, or Turnabout Trial. This game is called Gyakuten Kenji, or Turnabout Prosecutor. Plus, they announced they were doing a NEW Gyakuten NOT Saiben game all the way back in February.
Still, I can't help but wonder if this is some cruel April Fools joke.
You know, what I really wonder is if you get to wave your finger infront of your face.
For real.
Speaking of continuing the series, from what I've read it sounds like we're getting this and PW5 (though no clue what the gap would be between them). I wonder what's going to happen in that.
And speaking of that, does anyone know where the fuck Maya went? (no clue what that would really spoil I guess but just thought I'd be safe about it)
Yeah, a PW5 is apparently on the way, at least according to Court-Records.net. I thought we were supposed to hear about it at Capcom's Gyakuten Saiban event but I guess that was mainly an appreciative event for the series with some tidbits of the Perfect Prosecutor game tossed in as well.
As for Maya, don't read if you haven't completed Trials and Tribulations:Hidden content (Click to reveal)With Misty Fey gone Maya stands as the next in line to be the reigning master of the Kurain School of Channeling and all that jazz. However, (if I remember correctly) Maya decides to end the lineage regarding reigning masters of the Kurain technique to avoid any further dispute and bloodshed between factions in the family; such as that between Morgan and Misty. Beyond that, she was supposed to stay on as Phoenix's assistant but there is no mention of her at all in Apollo Justice.
I did finish T&T and Apollo Justice both, so that last sentence was my only concern. I guess no one knows.
edit: Speaking of court-records.net, this is an amazing find (http://www.court-records.net/screenshot/kenji/waterpark.jpg).
I sincerely hope that isn't Oldbag in the background there.
Also, the final case in Justice For All is amazing. No matter what you think of the other 3, the last one is pretty much reason enough to play JFA.
Going by what they've said on that site, she most certainly is there.

If anything, I'm actually kind of more interested in seeing how Pearl has grown up. Shouldn't she be around Trucy's Age at that point? (give or take I suppose)

I just started playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, the very first one...and I have to say...He's not that bad. I'm in the middle of the third case. Even though he's the prosecutor he seems pretty uh... speechless.
Fucking awesome game. I'll be playing all the others and waiting for this eventually. I'm in the middle of the second case right now though, and Miles in an asshole. Haha.
Speaking of Oldbag, has anyone been able to keep up with her when she starts speaking really quickly (auto advancing text)? It's usually nothing more than a rant but they're (mostly) pretty funny.
You think Edgeworth is an asshole? Manfred von Karma, dude. Manfred von Karma. That guy gave me nightmares. Scariest damn prosecutor ever.Franziska was more terrible than her father. How is it that the judge allows her to carry a whip into the court room and even worse: Use it to attack people? That's aggravated ASSAULT and I am pretty certain it's against the law! I don't even think Manfed's taser is that bad.
