Title: Not exactly new, but still...
Post by: Freddie on April 10, 2008, 09:27:08 pm
I don't know if anyone remembers me, and I doubt it, as I joined 2005, made four posts and then hightailed it outta here leaving my account behind me. Three years later I suddenly realized that it was still here. Anyway! I'm Fredrik, also known as Freddie. I'm a music composer and I try to do it professionally (as in I'm trying to make money but no luck yet). I listen to almost any kind of music, watch almost any kind of movie and yes, I do enjoy long walks at the beach. I'm engaged to a wonderful woman, my life's on a general kind of roll (or definitely a sort of conveyor belt) and I'm planning on becoming active here again.

So, long story short: Hi! I'll be staying here for a while. :)

Not much. Trying to write a theme song for a cartoon figure my fiancé made up. Oh, and I see I've got company in the Swedish club. :) I could ask you the same, too. What's up?

Hey, welcome to GW. Nice to meet you.

I've been wandering on your website and I listened to some of your pieces (remakes and originals). I liked them all. I gotta hand it to you, you're gifted. I didn't stop myself to read ALL of your background (silly me, I was there for the music only). I gotta ask: all your creations, did you use some program with instruments or did you actually played an/some/all the instruments, recorded the music and used a program to put it altogether?

Well, I'll check your website every now and then for new compositions. Keep up the good work!  â€‹

Thank you very much for your feedback! I use Sonar as a sequencer, and the instruments are various VSTs that I either bought or... hrm... "acquired". ;) The piano pieces are performed by me on my MIDI synth, and then edited and played through EWQL Silver Library's grand piano instrument. The sax part in the red light district piece is, believe it or not, a synth.

I'll be sure to update the site every now and then with new material. I hope you'll stick around! :)

Whey!

Someone else who uses Sonar!

I like your music, especially your piano works.
