Those are pretty cool!

There isn't much graffiti around here except some power boxes outside apartments which are painted over (gardens, tropical islands, etc). I might grab take my camera with me when I walk to work some morning and snap a picture or two. They're nothing exciting, but they're still neat.

Closest thing to graffiti we have is an old brick building with a faded Coca Cola logo.

Funny you should make a thread about graffiti, I just read this story about one of the biggest graffiti writers in my area (who also went to a nearby school) being caught and charged with so many counts of vandalism and damages up to half a million.

I honestly like graffiti, but the defacing of public property (and the outrageous amount of writers without talent) just putting their name everywhere pisses me off.  There's like 10 shitty/mediocre tags for every outstanding one.  I mean, boxcars and abandoned buildings aren't a big deal, but when they tag people's houses or local businesses - that's just gay.  Almost as gay as taking pictures of your work so you can upload to Facebook and Myspace lookin' for props.

I admit the vandalism stuff is pretty gay but dude federal prison? He could be in there for years, they should try get him into art school or some shit or a job so he can pay some of this stuff off.

All we have in my area is gang tags and names.

It's only logical to spray your name on something in big colorful letters, it's the only way not to get cought.

My idea was to make him clean that stuff up himself or do community service for a long, long time.  But wow, he's going to be in there for quite a while.

Banksy is from Brizzle and there's some pretty cool shit around and about. Next time I am down park street I will take a picture of a proper hilarious one by the bridge.
