I didn't even know they were making another movie, and I don't even recognize anyone mentioned in the cast. Does anyone have any thoughts about this movie? Is there even a remote possibility it won't suck ass? Since Raul Julia died, would someone else playing Bison go against canon? I really don't see this being any sort of an enjoyable theater experience, but I know more than a few of you shat you pants once you read about this.

Vega's supposed to be pretty and they go and find the ugliest-looking person they can?

Everyone else I like though. Especially Michael Clarke Duncan, but that's because I like him in anything he is such a badass.

I'm impressed.

I thought a Street Fighter movie worse than the first one could not be done, but they are definitely on the track to success there!


How the fuck does Chris Kline even have a career? He's terrible in every movie he's in, and I'm expecting this to raise the bar.

ps. what kind of street fighter movie would have charlie nash anyway?

Balrog is that guy from the Green Mile, he was actually quite a decent actor. I'll be seriously amazed if the best actor in the movie results to be FUCKING BALROG.
Chun-Li is Lana from Smallville and Bison is that fag from Medical Investigation


Edit: I'll be pissed if Dan isn't in the movie. I really want to see some Saikyo.  :fogetbackflip:

I've known this movie was coming for a long time, but this is the first I've heard of the casting with the exception of Chun-Li.  So I'll say exactly what I said when her name was announced:  the aging woman from the other Street Fighter movie was a better choice because at least she was FUCKING ASIAN WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THEM

Add to the fact that she looks entirely Canadian, I'd say it hardly works.

Hell I think an Asian man is more suited to play her, the legs would be accurate as well as the face.

I mean this is such a weird thing for me to argue about and I feel like there's something terrible about it but the one real requirement there is for Chun-Li is that she is Chinese.
