Exactly how long do shows run on National Television and what is this called? A... time slot is it?

Where can I find more information on various "time slots" for National Television Channels, including exactly how long a show or program is run?

Do you want to find this information for a specific show, or just for TV shows in general?  Either way I think Wikipedia is your best bet but I'm not really even sure what it is you're asking.
