Title: A good image browsing program?
Post by: Lord Kamina on May 23, 2008, 01:58:13 am
I was hoping if anybody could give me recommendations on this... I was using Firegraphic XP 5 for a while and it was good but then it just got too old and didn't work properly. I switched to Firegraphic 9 and it sucks major balls...

Can someone help me?

P.S. I already checked the sticky and I don't really like IrfanView (Though I'll still stick with it if I can't find something better)

WHAT I WANT
------------------

-For Win32
-Light
-Fast
-Basic editting options
--Cropping
--Resizing
--Converting
--Changing Color Space
--Rotating
--Black/White Balance
-Non-retarded Shortcuts
-Supports a lot of standard image formats
-Can comfortably loop through folders

WHAT I DON'T WANT
---------------------------
-ACDSee
-Firegraphic
-Opens MP3/AVI/PDF/ZIP/RAR/You get the idea
-Uses a shitton of resources (ACDSee and Firegraphic)

I've used Fastone Image Viewer (http://www.faststone.org/) a few times and it might be the kind of thing you're looking for maybe? Picasa (http://picasa.google.com/) is also good.
