Title: The Last few Days in GW Part 2: GW Harder. [forums]

I'll be the first to admit here that as an admin I kind of botched up my tact a little bit over the last few days and that will become common knowledge soon enough. As a result of this Jester has left. (http://www.gamingw.net/forums/index.php?topic=72207.new;boardseen#new) I guess if you are mad about this and want to know what happened, I fired him.

As for other news around the forum:

Long time global moderator Belross (http://www.gamingw.net/forums/index.php?PHPSESSID=49e5b68dfdbe3bae890e5879331eeca0&action=profile;u=23474) Has been removed from the mod team due to inactivity. (We think he is away with the army.) If he returns and continues to be active we'll reconsider re-hiring him but as long as he is away we don't see the benefit of keeping him on board.

We've replaced him and Jester with headphonics (http://www.gamingw.net/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=50082;sa=summary). For now this completes the gmod team which consists of:

Strangeluv (http://www.gamingw.net/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=47794) will be replacing headphonics as moderator of the IGD forum due to popular request.

Finally, leafo (http://www.gamingw.net/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=27400) has been made technical admin. leafo has been helping out with gaming world for a long time. He has helped out with a lot of technical problems including SMF modifications, skinning the current forums and developing GW6. He also has a lot of TECH KNOW-HOW and we want to try and make sure there is always someone around to resolve issues, as rami will be busy over the coming summer and Dave isn't always here. We all welcome him as an addition to the team. Everyone give him a big thumbs up.

The tech admins would all like me to tell you that if you have any questions or problems, don't hesitate to contact them personally. There's only so much that they can pick up from posts around the forums so your best bet is to send them a PM directly or make a post in Site Feedback. Us other lowly useless admins do keep our eye out and try and pass on as much information as we can but if you want a quick response, IRC or PM's is the way to go.

And if I've remembered correctly, that's all that's happened and you're all now up to date.

I actually thought you did this rather tactfully, since you did PM him or whatever which is pretty much the decent thing to do. dont beat yourself up....

yea i dunno about this.
jester banned me like every time, so fuck jester, but this is pretty much the worst case scenario i can think of as far as administrative teams.


excuse me for saying this, but it is JUST a forum guys. you act like it's some anti-democratic deed to commit a crime and and still be part of the moderation team at GW.
btw, drawing pictures DOES NOT make you a pedo. even if he is a scoundrel, was he looking at actual little girls? If he was I take it back, but this seems pretty Patriot Acty to me.

I had very little to do with this other than bringing it up. the entire thing was like MONTHS ON MONTHS in the mod forum.
