Wow... I have not been to this place in a LONG time. I just figured for the hell of it I would check in and see who was still here that was here way back when I frequented these forums. Probably not a lot, but maybe a few will recognize me.

I kinda remember the name, and I think it's kinda backwards-thinking to still consider only pre-2003 as old. So, sorta there's a lot of 2002, 2003 members still around.

I was banned through most of what is considered the OLDBIE-era but I used to be here before then (pre-OLDBIE era?) so maybe?? I think there's something familiar about your nick but I can't quite place it.

a lot of poeple with joined dates in mid-2002 may have joined earlier, and the joined dates were reset or something. I know that because i most definitely joined before 2002 (it had to be either 2000 or 2001... although i guess it could have been 2002 and i just lurked for a while).

do you guys who don't post anymore just WAIT AROUND for the topic to be made so you can post?  i do not remember seeing zeos in like a year and yet without fail people who had just FALLEN OFF THE MAP will reappear like 2 hours after these topics are made.  it's kind of weird!

I joined in 2002 and hung around for a couple of years before getting banned.  There was a lot of religious extremism and political shit going on back then, but I made a pretty good run before stepping on anyone's toes.

I'm pretty sure I don't remember you, though.

Yeah, oldbie is a pretty shitty word I would say.

Anyways, I recognize a good number of you guys. Some of you probably choose not to remember me. I was a troll back in my days when I frequented this place. Good to see some old faces though.

Anyways, just to let you know, life is pretty good. I don't have much time on the computer anymore. My time is dedicated to school (I'm taking summer courses), my social life, two jobs, and an amazing girlfriend. I hope everyone else is doing quite well :)

Also, maybe to help some of you remember, my first name on here was Arek the Absolute. DrFunk had a hell of a time making fun of me.

um... damn I JUST TURNED thirteen when I joined here, and it was around the time when everyone's (especially some guy I can't remember his name had the baby at soccer game giving middle finger as his avatar, name started with "S" modded general for a while) favorite insult was "U R 13" (ugh) and since a large number of members WERE thirteen, there were a lot of signatures with "Yes, I am thirteen, shut the fuck up" or something similar on them.

hmmm, i think i vaguely remember you. i'm pretty much an olbie 'round these parts. i've always been known as GW's little girl, and i've been around for quite a while (even before my registering date, i lurked). all i remember was that i joined GW when i was 7 (i started using RPG maker around Christmas when i was 6 years old, 6 months or so before i joined). my original account was made to ask a question about a Metroid game, and i posted a topic in General under a nickname that was something like "samusRox353". shortly after, i joined as mkkmypet and became a frequent, and i've been here ever since. :>

EDIT: hah, i've been here longer than ASE (by a few weeks). it's kinda weird to see that i joined before a lot of people who are some of the big rigs of GW.

Also I always considered ASE a newer member because he kind of 'broke out of his shell' or whatever around the same time as MTC4(sometime in 2005) and then with the troubadours and music creation expanding. I do remember you, dogchode/Chef Boyardee... didn't you go by just Chef for awhile? It's all a blur to me now. The names I remember are a lot of the ones in this topic, then there was Hundley, Impeal, Trihan, Moriason, Aidan, Gazzwa, Faust, and well... tons of others. And of course I recognize Erave LMAO. The genius behind the Easy Mac game was great.

Yeah this is pretty much me too. I remember blizz's post history was just pages of "you are 13". I was an idiot when I came here, Safari brutally made fun of me and I learned my ways.

I was near there just last month. I went to Cleveland to check out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Amazing place if you've never been. I also checkout Mentor on the Lake which isn't too far off if you've been there. The Cleveland area and areas around it are really something. I'd love to live there.

If I really had a reason to leave, I would.  But I like browsing the forums and finding interesting topics.  It's kind of weird to think I'm coming up on six years of being here, but there's another community I've been a member of since 1999.

I outgrew anime long before I got rid of that avatar.  I just didn't notice it for a long time, and when I found an image that I wanted as an avatar, I changed it.  I don't care how childish it is, as long as it's not representative of fucking Japanese culture.

I don't know if I'll ever change this one.  It's one-of-a-kind.  Nobody would bother to copy this and use it as their own.
