Title: Color my Movie
Post by: pburn on July 25, 2008, 03:29:11 am
I am having a hard time choosing a filter for my film "Son of the Hulck". Basically it's my personal homage to the Incredible Hulk tv series to feed my creative impulses.

In the scene Billy Banner is really depressed and hitchhiking n' shit. I know the second shot sucks ass btw.

Thanks guys.

Coolish looks a bit too dark.

I like bleached the best, personally.

Bleach Bypass and sharp look fine to me, depending on the shot.

that last shot looks pretty cool.

edit: yeah, I like sharp for the rain/forest scene

Ok guys, I have to admit I lied. That forest shot is not in the movie. The problem is we were trying to get footage of cars driving by, but in that specific shot someone stopped.

Also keep in mind I need to use one filter for the WHOLE SCENE not parts of it, because than everything starts to look unconsistent.

I think the bleach bypass gives the best saturation and contrast.

Just wondering what people opinions are on cool, it seems to me it enhances the loneliness of the characters.

I think sharp looks the best becuase it has better colour than the others. Depends what you're going for, but that's the one I would choose

Bleached seems to have the most realistic tone, so I'd go with that.

Yeah, but I'm still debating to myself about what is best so that's why I ask the people.

Personally I think you should tint everything green so it looks like the matrix

In any other situation I would have gone for Bleach but Sharp is definitely best for this. Bleach just makes it look too dark.
