I have a problem... I bought Half Life for PS2 from my friend because it wouldn't work on his ps2 fatty because it wont run blue disks. So I pop it in to my PS2, and then I see the booooaawwwwwwwwrr logo, then there is the BWEW Playstation 2 Logo, then the screen goes black and the disc spins at like 10000000000 time per millesecond and it sounds like there is a hyperspeed fan in my PS2 Slim. And nothing happens after 4 mins of black screen. Could it be because the disk is scratched? The disc does have 4 or 5 scratches in it. And some dirty places. Can you tell me what to do? Should I get a refund or what?
BTW: It works on my friend's slim Black Model PS2, but not my Silver Model PS2

well if it works on another slim ps2 but not your slim ps2 then its obviously your slim ps2 at fault...

This happens to me with blue discs and PS1 games, too. There's nothing you can do about it as far as I know.
Also can we turned this thread into a Half-Life discussion topic because Half-Life is the best.

Oh don't worry, it's just your PS2's way of telling you to get Half Life for the PC instead.
-
Yeah if you PC can run gaming world it can pretty much run half life.

The PS2 version had remodeled graphics and the pretty cool Decay co-op story mode.
